Das Hotel ist in der Vergangenheit stehen geblieben. Alte Holzmöbel der Firma Dänisches Bettenhaus von ca. 1990. Dazu unmoderne dunkelbraune klobige Sessel. Zum Glück war zumindest unser Zimmer ausreichend groß. Das Frühstück für 16 € lässt hoffen- aber leider auch hier nur der Netto von um der Ecke. Absolut nichts besonderes. Verhungern tut man nicht, aber mit Freude frühstücken auch nicht. Preis und Leistung passen nicht zusammen. Ich Frage mich, wofür hier 4 Sterne stehen.

Wir waren als Familie hier und hatten das Glück ein sehr großes Zimmer im DG zu bekommen. War groß genug für mindestens 2 Erwachsene und 1-2 Kinder. Für den Preis von 170,00€ / Nacht haben wir inclusive Frühstück zu dritt somit nicht zu viel gezahlt. Die Vorraussetzungen für 4 Sterne sind aus meiner Sicht voll erfüllt- Zimmergrösse, Ausstattung Service Küche alle i.O. Wenn man natürlich erwartet das 4 Sterne heißt man hat einen privaten Butler, ist man wahrscheinlich enttäuscht. Die Lage ( Nähe zur S Bahn- Berlin, die trotzdem ruhige Lage und das Angebot ( gute Küche bis 22:00, Schwimmbad Sauna, Kegelbahn ) machen das Hotel durchaus empfehlenswert.

Ich war jetzt für eine Nacht auf Durchreise zu Gast im Flora. Schon beim Check-in musste ich mir eine völlig genervte Mitarbeiterin (vermutlich eine Auszubildende) im Restaurant suchen. Einrichtung des Zimmers veraltet und abgewohnt und ohne Charme. Wer hat dem Kasten denn 4 **** vergeben?, oder ist das evtl. noch das alte DDR-Rating? Das Restaurant mit kleiner Terrasse ist auch mehr ein Witz; die gleiche Mitarbeiterin verkündete schon beim Eintreffen Freitagabends, daß das Restaurant um 20:30 Uhr schließt? Bedienung dann nur auf Zuruf. Echt jetzt, Flora? :-( Das Frühstück war der Preiskategorie entsprechend; war nicht üppig, aber zumindest nett angerichtet, okay soweit. Was mich schwer genervt hat, ist, daß der Speisesaal ein mittelgroßes Fliegenproblem hat; geht echt gar nicht. FAZIT: Für mich mit viel gutem Willen grad mal ***. Kein Service, kein nettes Wort, kein Niveau. Für mich das erste und das letzte Mal hier...
