Amazing place, really clean, really spacious. Plenty to do.
I advise take a car with you as it is about 1-1.20 hours from Alexandria.
Also book the hotel between July- end of august.
There is a indoor pool which is heated and an outdoor pool which is cold, they also have a beach, gym, sauna, jacuzzi but the time I went the jacuzzi and sauna was not on or available.
The have a room that has two small snook tables, a outdoor football 🥅 ⚽️ pitch/court, basketball ball 🏀 court and a tennis/Badminton 🏸 🎾 court.
Water park, late night entertainment.
The women called Sara at the Concierge is very helpful very professional. Hospitality was amazing from her think she was the manager. She even allowed me to have a late check out without any charge but the staff in very helpful. Very friendly.
The hotel is very spacious and the rooms are very spacious.
The food was fine but nothing spectacular.

Very nice place, friendly staff and pleasant stay with many activities to do. The only drawback is that the access to the main gates is blocked from the side of government palace and you will need to go to a branch of uneven road before getting back to the main access road. Otherwise, the resort itself is very perfect to stay in and near to many places.

The hotel is beautiful.
Negatives:
• My reservation did not appear in their system, and they seemed surprised that I had booked through Trip.
• I had to wait for more than an hour.
• Honestly, I was hoping that when Ms. Sarah requested a chalet near the pool and water games, it would be a warm welcome, but unfortunately, my request was not fulfilled.
• Children under 12 stay for free.
• The hotel’s activities are weak, but there are water games for children.
• The beach is beautiful.
• The hotel’s location is far from the main attractions.
• Suitable for a stay of only two to three days.

Staying from 02-08 till 06-08 2025 I stayed at Gewan Resort New Al Alamein and honestly, it was a big letdown, especially for a place that just opened in 2023. The housekeeping was really bad; the bed sheets weren’t clean and I even found hair on the bed, which didn’t feel fresh or hygienic at all. The food was just okay, very average with nothing special about it. The facilities looked old and used, even though the resort is supposed to be new. There was a water leak in my room and the water pressure was super low, which made showering difficult. Reception was very slow and it took a long time to get any help or answers. The beach wasn’t clean and, worst of all, I found a lizard in my room which was very upsetting. Overall, the place isn’t well taken care of and really needs better cleaning, maintenance, and service. It’s definitely not worth the money and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
