We stayed one night here, in a standard room - which was very spacious, with verandah, huge bathroom and outside shower. Wifi only works in the lounge. We had a sunset game drive, and saw giraffes and a very moving close-up encounter with their 2 rhinos, who wait patiently by the gate of their large enclosure for their supper. It was quite emotional being sniffed and inspected at arm's length by such huge creatures, who were equally fascinated by us. It was rather lovely driving through the red dunes, as they were cloaked in a sea of waving green grasses. There is a waterhole in front of the lodge outdoor dining area, visited by giraffes emerging from the dark, while we were there. The restaurant food wasn't to my taste; added sugar in most dishes.

We stayed here for just one night. The peace and quiet here is amazing, a real get away from the world and the night time view of the milky way spectacular. The rooms are quite large with lovely verandahs to sit and watch any comings and goings of animals. The room furniture is tired as was the internal bathroom area. There is an outside shower, but it was too cold for us to use it. Each room is close to the pool. Wifi is only available in the lounge / common areas. The food is eaten outside, unless it's raining. The food was enjoyable. One of our party was gluten free and they catered very well for her needs. We did a sundowner game drive which was amazing and saw lots of different animals.

Check in efficient but not friendly. Public area spacious but lacking any theme/personality. Rooms large but again very bland, with some odd design issues as well. Dinner very simple, served without much thought. wine list short but OK. Breakfast poor, nasty low class buffet, coffee weak and tepid. Cooked option very basic. Game drive , good general game, beautiful dune drive, excellent vehicle, guide drove competently but spoke unclearly and offered very little general information. German in the vehicle did not know what they were missing

I fell in love with this place. So much character. Lovely, spacious rooms, beautiful communal areas/bar .... everything was perfect. The highlight was dining outside on the terrace by the pool under the Namibian stars with giraffes, oryxes and other wildlife drinking from the waterhole very close by. It just blew me away. We did the sundowner game drive and saw meercats (mother and baby), bat eared fox, giraffes, oryxes, ostriches and many other birds and animals, and then had cocktails/drinks in the most beautiful location. The sand is so red!!! I loved it!!!

Beautiful lodge in a fantastic location. Staff is very helpful and professional and food is very good. The surroundings are perfect with a lot of animals right at you doorstep.

Wonderful accommodation, very friendly, enthusiastic, service-minded and professional staff. Superb gamedrive (sundawner), very beautiful scenery, cool activity with the San. Many thanks to all the staff for a blissful stay.

This was our first stop as we headed south on a 2 week trip. Friendly welcome and fab setting in the park area. Even zebra's right outside the main building! Our room I'd say was a bit basic, large but getting a bit dated but bed comfortable and all clean. There is a pool but it was a little murky so wasn't comfortable enough to go in but a nearby watering hole attracted springbok so lovely to see the animals in close proximity. The BEST thing here was the sunset game drive, we couldn't believe what we saw; Wildebeest, Oryx, Springbok, Giraffe, White Rhino and Bertus the guide was fab! Out of our 2 weeks this was the only place we got bitten (in our room - we could hear the mosquito all night), about 25-30 bites! so definitely spray deet generously. Evening meal was a 4 course affair and all good.
