My group was in Mariazell for part of a pilgrimage that would culminate in Oberammergau. I loved staying here! The hotel is charming and seems to accommodate many winter sport visitors. There are lots of deer heads on display. It's a very short walk to the church and to many cute little stores. We had a nice evening meal and a wonderful breakfast that included lots of choices.

Overpriced for an aging hotel with mediocre quality at best. I certainly won't stay here again. Drinks at the hotel bar are extremely expensive. Breakfast coffee is bad. Room furnishings are outdated. Not recommended.

Not a 4-star hotel, no spa, sauna only open at certain times. Long hair everywhere in the bathroom, otherwise OK in terms of cleanliness. Only the evening meal was very good. The rooms are large but everything is showing its age. It is more reminiscent of a youth hostel than a hotel. The sauna is only open between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., and even as a group there was no willingness to run a sauna for half an hour longer for 6 people. The staff are very nice, but cannot improve the overall condition. At just under €200 for one night, it is a different experience.

Our room was very nice, clean and tidy. The staff is very friendly, courteous and helpful. The hotel has a large pool and sauna, making it ideal for families with children. In the evening we were spoiled with a three-course meal in the hotel restaurant. We'll definitely be back!

We have just spent a few days at the Weisser Hirsch, where we felt very comfortable. The spacious rooms are beautifully furnished and decorated with great attention to detail. Das Hotel liegt zentral in Mariazell. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer- JuniorSuite- war sehr gross, sauber und gemütlich. Das Zusatzbett war etwas kurz. Insgesamt waren die Betten sehr niedrig und die Matratzen sehr weich- für meinen Geschmack. Einziger Minuspunkt, ich hätte mir noch einen zweiten Mülleimer im Zimmer gewünscht, nicht nur im Bad. Frühstück war sehr gut, ausreichend Auswahl und für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Abendessen hat sehr gut geschmeckt, drei Hauptspeisen zur Auswahl- eine davon vegetarisch. Ausreichend grosse Portionen.

Ich war besonders begeistert vom modernen Ambiente des Hauses, das trotzdem den alpinen Charme bewahrt hat. Der Check-in verlief reibungslos, und das Personal war durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit. Mein Zimmer war sauber und gut ausgestattet, die Matratze angenehm fest – genau richtig für einen erholsamen Schlaf. Auch die Sauna war ein echtes Plus, besonders nach einem langen Spaziergang rund um den Erlaufsee. Mariazell hat so viel zu bieten, und dieses Hotel war der perfekte Ausgangspunkt dafür. Lediglich das WLAN könnte etwas schneller sein, aber das hat meinen Aufenthalt kaum getrübt.
