my husband and I recently stayed for 2 weeks at this fabulous hotel with intensive trea**ent option and full board. It was our 1st time in this place and we flew over the ocean to enjoy it and indeed, we enjoyed our stay and trea**ent immensly! Staff is amazing, especially Manager Filip at the reception, he is definitely worth a promotion! He is so friendly, helpful and has a very nice personality! Also waitresses at the retaurant- Matia and Olga deserve a compliment for sure! Very nice service all the time! Antonina at the spa reception does a great job too! Once a week they have a live music in the bar, need to book the seats in advance As for the trea**ent itself-they have fabulous facilities and everything is well organized. We included all we could get as well paid extra for creosauna. It was our first time using it and we found it quite refreshing. The accomodations we got was Junior suite facing the garden and we found it very nice and useful. The windows can be open in each room and we had a balcony too. my only complaint is the hours of operation of sauna and steam room as well roman baths-they close them at 9 pm which we find very early as it is impossible to enjoy them right after the full dinner . If they can extend it to 10 pm -would be a much better option. Also temperature of the water in jacuzzi is very low-quite cold, not even warm! other than than -its was a very pleasant stay and we would definitely recommend it! Bring a couple of metal water bottles with you as you will need to get different types of mineral water each day and having bottles really helps. Parking in front of the hotel is free but limited. We arrived in the mid of April when it was not that busy.

This is one of the best hotel of this chain in Marianske Lazne. I would like to mention several main areas…. Room…Spa procedures…Eating. Room…We had an executive suite containing two small rooms with balcony and the bathroom. Rooms were nice, but not everything was working properly. Defect on the floor just behind the main entry doors was quite weird and the first impression was quite bad. It was not possible to manage the Air Condition system directly from the room even though there was some remote control unit on walls. This was second bad impression. There is a large TV in both rooms. Bathroom was nice, quite cold without any floor heating. Towel warmer in the bathroom did not work. Another bad impression. Bed was large enough, mattress was comfortable. But what was really horrible are pillows and duvets, sheets and total bedding full of some artificial not comfortable materials. This was really bad. Spa procedures were just perfect. I enjoyed many of them and always I was satisfied. Nothing to add. Just use them. Eating…We had a half board scheme. There was nothing I was missing during breakfast. Quality of all food was just perfect. Dinners were delicious. Buffet form of dinners is something you really enjoy. General conclusion? This was a really good stay. The staff here is really friendly. A**osphere of the hotel is very positive. There are several details in the room which need some refurbishment, but the overall service, as I felt it, was above high average. Parking…it is possible to park your car here. There are not many parking slots in front of the hotel, so the service must be reserved in advance.

Fantastic experience in a classic spa hotel. Great location, fantastic decoration & the roman baths the highlight. Friendly staff. Great to be able to walk via corridors/lifts through to the other hotels and all their facilities. Room was spacious with a fantastic bathroom. Extensive excellent buffet breakfast.

Absolutely stunning experience. Quality of the services, cuisine, personell and spa & medical trea**ent on the top level! Hotel in neo-renesance style has great location, near collonade with local famous singing fountain, you have to visit.

I had a stay of 5 nights in the Nove Lazne, followed by 2 more nights in the connected Hvezda which I will review separately. They are quite different experiences though some of the facilities are shared. I travelled on my own in February 2023. I had a wonderful time at the Nove Lazne. Attentive and helpful staff, excellent spa/wellness facilities, a lovely room (if a bit old fashioned) and very good dining for a buffet at such a reasonable price. I went half-board, so breakfast and dinner only, which was enough for me. I was delighted to be given my own table for the duration of the stay, with the same team of waiting staff all the way through. This was really good as they got to know what I wanted (as soon as she saw me in the mornings, Maria set off for my large cappuccino). As a consequence it is only personable to chat to your fellow guests whose faces you get to know, and as someone on my own I thought this lovely and charming. I spoke mostly Russian to staff and guests (good practice for me), learning some courtesy words in Czech, but it seems there are enough English and German speaking staff and guests about. Food was pretty good for the challenge of setting out a buffet every night (though on one night there was a set menu and a pianist to accompany dinner. Really good). It is mostly Eastern European fare (fine for me, I love it), though I also noted plenty of vegetarian options. I might avoid the soup (too watery), but there was plenty of choice (and very good salads and bread). At breakfast they cooked up a fresh omlete for me every morning. Great. I was delighted by the experience of the Roman Baths, and this is also accessible if you stay in any of the numerous hotels in the complex, connected as they are by a maze of corridors and lifts. Don't be put off by them, it is worth having a look around, and it also allows use of the fitness centre in the central hotel and the swimming pool in the Hvezda. I used both during my stay, though you can give the pool a miss if you are in the Nove Lazne: it is a bit of a walk for similar facilities and there are a lot more kids there, which didn't suit me. I also used the massage services and had a superb cup of hot chocolate in the Wiener Cafe. I found it easy to request what I wanted from the spa, and again very helpful staff that were friendly and efficient. I have never stayed anywhere quite like this before and I really enjoyed the experience. It is cold in Marianske Lane in February, and I left the hotel only a few times for a walk in the general vicinity: it is a beautiful town, but very quiet during my stay (I am guessing the regular Russian tourists can't get money out to fund their holidays). I am likely to come again, and as a winter destination it is really top class for rest and relaxation. My body has been pampered and soaked and sweated and I have really switched off for once. Many thanks for such a great stay.

Spent a birthday weekend at this old spa hotel. Off season but still really nice. A big old classic hotel, it’s not the most modern but has a great feel to it. The room was nice and the bathroom first class. Comfortable bed. No English TV though plenty of German, lol. There’s a Roman bath in the basement along with sauna and other spa facilities. Fun to explore. We didn’t do any of the paid spa services but they looked to be extensive. The hotel is connected to several other properties in the same group and you can use all the facilities in each. As the Roman bath was the most interesting to us, it was nice that it was directly available. Did the breakfast option and a surprise box of chocolates and card was waiting from the management for the birthday boy. Everyone was very nice and cheerful which isn’t necessarily the norm in Czechia.

Unwind in style in this spa hotel built over the stunning Roman baths. Comfortable, though slightly outdated rooms and a bed with the firmest mattress you will ever find. 4 or 5 hotels in the chain are linked by underground tunnel, so possible to use the Roman bath from all hotels. Clean saunas. Restaurant is good quality buffet (and after cooking in the sauna a far easier option than wandering out). Breakfast also good, though unusual way of making omelettes leaves you with a sort of pancake. All in all, like stepping back in time. Staff though helpful are functional and borderline surly.

This hotel is in a fabulous location and really interesting area. The building is amazing. The room was very good and the staff very pleasant and mostly helpful, but difficult as few had much English as most guests are German. However what could be a great hotel is really spoilt by the food and restaurant. Breakfast is acceptable, but juice all watered down and fruit from tins! The evening meal is a disaster. Restaurant opens at 6pm for dinner and is almost empty by 7.30pm and closes at 8.30pm. Food is buffet and very low quality and poor on choice. 3 meat, 1 fish all grilled and overcooked plus a pasta dish. Do not eat your evening meals here. Go out in the town it is much better. Spa/Roman baths are yes from the past and large and grand. However nowhere to swim as pools too small and jacuzzi only warm. On balance disappointing
