Convenient location right off I-10 with Walmart across the street & numerous restaurants (Ruby Tuesdays recommended) within walking distance. I booked last minute and was quickly checked in by the cutest East Indian couple that are expecting a baby in January. The third floor double queen room was basic but clean, comfy beds, small TV, coffee pot, iron with full sized ironing board, desk with chair, 3 lamps with extra plug ins, microwave, mini fridge & working HVAC. The tub/shower is a little slippery so be careful or throw in a small towel to stand on. Bath was clean with 2 sets of towels, hair dryer, bar soap & shampoo. We questioned at checkin about security because we were pulling a trailer. They reassured us of the well lit parking lot and 12 outdoor 24 hour surveillance which they actually showed us the video screen. Impressive for a budget hotel. Saw no one loitering around outside. Breakfast 6am-9:30 was again basic but adequate. I highly recommend but don’t expect The Ritz at these reasonable prices.
