Cold rooms, no wifi and then the boiler gave up ! Booked for a couple of days at it was a friends birthday and we wanted somewhere reliable and comfortable with parking and wifi so one of our party could finish a work meeting . Upon arrival we were told that there was no wifi . The rooms were cold ( thermostat turned down to 14 degrees) and it took a couple of hours to warm up. Which luckily we had as we needed to find a cafe with wifi ! On the morning of the second day the boiler broke so there was no hot water so we couldn’t warm up with a shower . The rooms were clean and the bed comfortable but overall it was a disappointing stay

Amazing visit even though major building works were going on. No breakfast as pub was also having major work done, but hotel had endless coffee in reception & pastries in the morning. Room was spotless, bed really comfy & the pillows are the best! Good showers, with body wash provided but bring your own shampoo/conditioner. Plenty of towels and they will come in & clean your room if you request it. (If staying more than one night!) very easy to find - free parking in front of the hotel & just across the road from the beach.

Arrived and checked in super fast. The room was basic but comfortable. Very little in the way of tea/coffee/sugars/milk, luckily we had our own (saved constantly asking at reception). Really helpful and friendly guy working on the desk. He gave us info and tips on the venue we were attending for the gig and after the gig he supplied us with a much needed jug of nice cold water to take to our room. Breakfast was delicious and a huge selection of cooked and continental. Evening dinner was also really delicious.. however remember to book in advance if you don't want to be sternly told off by the lady seating people (we didn't realise we needed to), so that was spoilt a little bit. Overall a really pleasant stay and would definitely book again.

We did not know we needed to) On the whole a really nice stay, comfortable, delicious Dinners and a huge breakfast selection.

To us our stay was priceless. Close to station and bus stop for hospital and the restaurant was on the premises with the meal deal bargain available was very pleasing to my wallet, for me everything was on one level, although there were lifts and stairs to other floors: priceless!!!!

Shabby exterior, WiFi not working, room smelt of mould, restaurant toilets disgusting, net curtain black with dirt and very smelly, rooms too hot but there was a desktop fan which helped a little. Staff pleasant, service good, food good. We arrived early before check-in, after a 4 hour journey we needed to use the loo, we was sent away and told to use other facilities, we went to the station. We now think this lack of service was due to the state of the restaurant toilets! Will not return
