Hotel Costa Caribe is an offer for undemanding people who want to sunbathe and have fun. The standard of the hotel is very low, so it is best to spend time outside the rooms, which are in a very poor condition. The hotel has so many shortcomings that it is easier to say what is positive: - comfortable beds (thankfully), - a pleasant massage they perform by the pool, - tasty food (in limited quantity), - good drinks (passion fruit with rum), - nice beach. Unfortunately, everything else is broken, neglected or limited. A useful Spanish word for this hotel is "roto" (broken). Only two people from the reception knew English, the rest of the staff only spoke Spanish. During our stay, we had the door lock repaired, the toilet flush, the lamp in the bathroom and a hair dryer and safe installed, for which we waited 2 days. Room changes are the norm. We changed it once, others even 3 times. The bathrooms are in terrible condition, with many defects. Air conditioning in the rooms is a big fungus. Hotel service is polite but slow. The food in the restaurant was tasty but very poor and monotonous. The gaps were not filled on an ongoing basis, people who came later had little choice. That's why I recommend shrimp and oysters sold on the beach at very low prices. I rate the pools positively in terms of different water levels, you can sit and soak or go to another part to swim. Unfortunately, pool cleaning was not carried out regularly. There was garbage in the pool and sediment appeared on the shore. The hotel had shortages of mineral water, food and hot water for bathing, but there was an abundance of one thing: loud Latin music. Discos last until 1 a.m. and there is no quiet place. The music is loud and can be heard throughout the hotel. People who need hot, boiled water (e.g. for a child) will have a problem with it because the rooms are not equipped with electric kettles. There were 2 kettles in the hotel (1 in the restaurant and 1 in the snack bar) where the water boiled for 20 minutes, the first one to "catch" the kettle with boiling water had tea, the others waited another 20 minutes. It is worth taking a hotel taxi to the town of Juan Griego and to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Valley. What will be useful: dollars in "one" currency (there is nowhere to exchange them), mosquito spray, an electric kettle, a charger with the appropriate tip, strong sunscreen. Hotel Costa Caribe is a poor hotel that still needs a lot of improvements and is definitely not a place for families with children.

An Awesome and Amazing stay at this beautiful resort. The staff were exceptional, so friendly! They took extra special care of us , like royalty. The huge pool was great and we loved the beach. The highlight for us was the activites , dancing at nights was awesome, even my toddler enjoyed it, there was even bonfire dancing on the beach to some great music and drinks. The cocktails were excellent- my favorite being the cocktail costa caribe. The walks on the breezy beach and the sunsets were spectacular. I was also impressed by the security guards who made us feel safe. The morning to go airport we got breakfast boxes and some cereal for my daughter, - the goodbyes were heartfelt as we had become good friends with the staff, other guests from other countries!

My family and I had a lot of fun with the animators. Caesar and Elvis are especially funny persons. The children enjoyed playing volleyball with them. Husband and I were throwing frisbees. We laughed a lot.

We decided to take a 14.5 hour flight with our little one. Everything was safe and decent! All the passengers expressed their respect to us and the little one :) but I recommend everyone to take hooks with bags on the plane, it is a must to put toys and small things there so that you don't have to constantly rummage under the seats or just not litter the cabin. A pillow for sleeping is a must!!! They bring food, give water, but they won't pour water into a thermos mug, only into their cup :). At the airport, all the passengers let us through, huge thanks to everyone for their care!!! As for the hotel, we liked everything very much, we just got there during such a difficult period when something was wrong with the gas and the whole island lived in a mode of short-term electricity and water. With the little one, of course, this difficulty became just a nightmare!!! But let's not talk too much about the troubles, let's talk more about the protection, so, Wi-Fi works great outside near the room, but take a USB flashlight with you (you never know what you might need to light up in the room or just read) and a big !!! power bank. The sockets are European, so take 2-3 adapters so as not to be tied to one socket. We did not pay for towels, a remote control for the air conditioners and TV, but we did not watch TV, and the air conditioner itself turned on at night and at night it was very cold in one room, just a freezer. The music blares until 1 a.m., but we slept well to it on the first night, and the baby kept falling asleep afterwards. The walls in the room are very thin. The music blares loudly on the territory until 1 a.m., it's good that we have two rooms, we slept in the far one, there is no music there. It is very hot in the room, we hung our clothes wherever possible. The food in the dining room is varied, anyone who likes suluguni cheese will probably like absolutely everything. everything that is sprinkled with cheese on top is salty, even the same pasta omelette, everything is salty due to the cheese. The staff is everywhere very welcoming, friendly and smiling. The floors are cold, tiles, there are mosquitoes, but not enough, take a USB fumigator and plates, take more soft bags with food for the baby. Very tasty eggplants and zucchini, bread, meat. There are even beets, carrots, cabbage. There is no tea, only black coffee (in the morning they give milk too) and cocoa, it is sooo delicious, take it quickly, because it runs out quickly, and 2 types of drinks (flavors change, the main ones are guava, passion fruit, watermelon). The pastries are delicious, but very small pieces. There is always a lot of hot food. In the evening or at night, crabs and crickets can crawl to you. It is better not to touch the crab, they are really nimble. We tried to cover it with a towel and clean it up, it didn't work, it crawled onto the towel, so we got rid of it somehow:))) Well, it was easier with the cricket, I grabbed it in a bag and took it out of the room. The sunrises are awesome, but the sun rises sooooo fast. They cleaned our room (family) every day. Although in other descriptions it was written that they cleaned it once a week. We managed to turn off the air conditioner ourselves, we found a meter under a painting and turned it off. (Although we came to the reception twice and asked them to turn it off for us, but they said that they could only do it when there was electricity, but when they turned it on, no one came to us. Well, that's okay

If at any time you want to go to a nice and wonderful place, I recommend this resort 100%, the location is ideal, its staff is very friendly, especially its entertainers Chiqui, Luis and its leader Rosa Virginia, our friend Anibal who seems one more son and he serves with charisma and a lot of kindness, all the people who serve in the dining room, the security personnel who make the place very safe, the two bartenders José, the king of the piña colada, in short, everyone who works and They make this resort a magical place for families who enjoy it there. Although the shows last until late, you are left wanting more and when you wake up to the new day, you see the facilities clean, as neat as the day you arrived, the staff works hard. and they try very hard, my family consists of my two daughters Abby, 15 years old (her celebration), Melani (who has a special condition spinal cord aplasia), my friend Sarai and my dear wife Mireya, on behalf of us Oswaldo we congratulate you for setting the Venezuelan tourism at the highest level. Thank you and God for making us have such a wonderful experience.
