Like the owner for his friendliness, giving us tips on places to visit and giving us one of the best rooms with our car parked almost at the doorstep. The room was very clean, well thought out for it's functions with heated beds to give us good sleep. Would recommend this place.

A nice, clean and cosy place to stay. Just a short walk to Margaret River Town and you can get just about anything! Steve the owner is extremely friendly and always ready to give advise on nice restaurants and places to visit around the region. Love the no frills and eco friendly way the place is managed. Kudos to Steve and his team;)

Steve is a great host. He was quick to share lots of information and answered all our questions as first-timers to beautiful Margaret River country. The rooms and grounds are first-rate. Downtown shopping and restaurants are a short walk, but Edge of the Forest is really in the edge of the forest. We loved our stay and hope to return.

Such a great place to stay We’ve stayed in numerous hotels/motels in and around Margaret River over the last 15 years, and this motel is the friendliest we’ve ever experienced. Steve was great to deal with and chat to, and the accommodation was good. We’ll definitely be back.
