Exquisite hotel and pool, set in beautiful grounds, just a walk or drive into Margaret River. Room was tastefully decorated, clean and well appointed. The hotel staff couldn't have been be more friendly and helpful which really added to our experience. We had a fantastic relaxing two nights stay, thank you.

This hotel is quite comfortable to stay in. The room is not big, but the view, location and environment are very good. It is close to the coffee factory, town and sunset at the seaside. The breakfast tastes very authentic and delicious. The staff is very friendly. The manor has a tennis court, swimming pool and barbecue area. If you want to go to Margaret River, it is a good choice.

This was one of the most amazing holiday experiences! We stayed here for our first wedding anniversary. Exquisite manicured gardens, peaceful, excellent staff service, wonderful breakfast food and the room was my Bridgetown dreams! Extremely clean, and they left us a personalised note and gift for our anniversary and a parting gift on departure. We will be back every year !

An escape into the luxury of a bygone era, amidst gorgeous scented and colourful gardens. Enjoy a dip in the surrounds of their private pool, play a little tennis and enjoy a bbq by the lake within the grounds. We always indulge ourselves in their fabulous breakfast in the conservatory overlooking these beautiful grounds.

The atmosphere, decor and attention to detail was wonderful. The house is immaculate and shrouded in leafy green trees and gardens. Secluded benches hidden in amongst the garden pathways invite tranquility and rest. My room was luxurious and I loved the view down into the front gardens. I was always greeted warmly and the hospitality was excellent. Breakfast in the conservatory was delicious and we loved the afternoon tea of coffee and cake. I especially loved the photos and history of the house on display as it added to the sense of history and a full rich past. Would highly recommend especially if you are looking for a quiet escape. I will look forward to my next stay!

The pillows where fluffy and excellent and the super king bed was great ,enjoyed seeing and reading the history of the original building. The staff where super friendly and the location of the Grand Mecure Basildene Manor was close to all in the city heart.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, rooms very nice & clean, gardens immaculate, pool clean, breakfast in the Conservatory was lovely,. Staff were very accommodating & attentive, a fantastic experience and will recommend to family & friends. Regards Chris D

Such a treat to stay in this immaculately presented guest house, truly beautiful rooms and stunning outlooks to garden and landscaped green vistas. Loved the in house breakfasts especially the blueberry pancakes. Highly recommend to anyone wanted a bit of luxury and r&r.
