Jackaroo Motel

Clean, comfortable and quiet. Room was very big with a double and a single bed. Perhaps a small table and chairs or lounge seat would have made room look less stark. Shower rose didn't sit properly in hook and water pressure seemed low. Foxtel and wifi available.

Rooms were lovely and clean. Extra bets were put in to suit our family. Close to town with and a nice quite stay. The staff are very helpful and friendly. All and all very happy with our stay. We would definitely recommend the Jackaroo Motel.😀

This is an old fashioned motel with parking directly outside of the rooms. Spacious rooms. Very comfortable. Appreciated the microwave. Even though on a main road I didn't really hear road noise. Our check in was very smooth. Would happily stay here again.

Old style motel but refurbished within and very clean. Thoughtful touches too like cold water in the fridge . Easy psrking right outside the door. I was worried as it is on the main road but there is hardly any passing traffic once it gets dark.

- Effort / Ethics One may dismiss this review by calling me as a vindictive forgetful person. However, that is not the reason why I am writing this review. This review speaks more for the lack of effort made by the manager/owner of the place when I found myself in a tricky situation. I am certain that I left my laptop's charger at the room when I signed out. I understand such things happen time to time and perhaps it could have been left somewhere else. I went straight to the office after my stay where I didn't have to open my bags as they stayed in the rental car the whole time. When I returned I inquired about the charger to which he advised me that there was none reported by "the cleaning girls". I requested him to call then just in case if by human error they left it somewhere else. Since I was going straight to the airport after this conversation, it was important for me to explore all the options right there instead of waiting for it to be posted if it turns up (my phone battery was dying too since I was using the phone throughout the day). He kept insisting that the girls would have told him if they found one there. But, other than backing his team he would make no effort to inquire just in case. Takes my address and says if it turns up we will post it. But, such effort would not be helpful given the situation I was in. I am certain the charger is there. I called the office, visited the office myself to ensure that I do not simply come to such a conclusion. A human error from my part is the reason why the laptop was not in my bag and I tried to work towards finding it. But this guy was too comfortable with his belief. Would not move an inch to support a person. A simple call to the staff was not too much to ask. I have no idea why he didn't want to. Raises question with this attitude. A human error could occur on both sides?? The room itself was okay for a motel and some body wash might be helpful instead of a hand soap but I think people don't expect much from the motels anyways. Would never return there.

Excellent service and very clean and tidy! Will stay again no problem 😉 very comfortable beds and the staff were so friendly and welcoming amazing stay. I will be coming back to the jackaroo and would recommend this lovely place to stay in your travels.

I have had two visits November and December 2023 for urgent family affairs. Room emaculate, big spacious with all amenties I needed. Provided with room tidy, each day with tea, coffee facilities with complimentry milk and biscuits in the fridge. Very impressed for a small country town

The best quality place well looked after by the Owners Dave was a great help and a good bloke. Made sure we was comfortable and made sure we had room ready for us. Thanks Jackaroo Hotel much Appreciated.

Thank you Jackaroo Motel. We had a peaceful night sleep, which was needed. It was easy to book, check in, and the staff are very friendly. Plenty of information was given and use of the facilities were explained to us very well.
