We chose this hotel on cost, but it turned out to be very well-located, an easy 10-minute walk from either Lille station and the city centre (Grand Place), and even closer to the old town. The hotel is clean and functional, with all the basics: comfy bed, tiny but well appointed ensuite shower-room, small desk and surprisingly comfortable chair, blackout blind on the window... Breakfast was the usual cold buffet items: cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt, cheese, breads, croissants, preserves, plus juices and hot drinks. All high quality except the whole apples (there was fruit salad too), which were dull and several were bruised - both mornings. Wifi was good both in our 4th floor room and in the breakfast room. Staff were rather dour, and not quite on it clearing breakfast detritus, for example, but that was fairly minor issue for us. But it was the location which made it special - just round the corner from Rue du Gand, a pretty cobbled street full of eating establishments and gateway to both the old town and the main centre.

I must admit - seeing some less than stellar reviews, I came very close to canceling my reservation and going with another hotel. I am glad I did not. Honestly, I am not sure why there are complaints as if everyone is perfect. The hotel is great! Beds comfortable, showers clean, views beautiful. AC works nicely. Any time I asked for help - Ambre and Nicolas were super helpful. Whether changing my room due to proximity to the elevators, to just simple reservation help in the city - they did above and beyond. And every day greeted me with a polite smile. What else can one ask for? Meals - breakfast and dinner buffet is very nice, with wide variety of food. For those complaining, my recommendation - there is SO MANY DIFFERENT CHOICES! Do not concentrate on a few you did not like, concentrate on ones you did. After all, this is what buffets are about, right? CHOICES!. They even have Big Green Egg, and they smoke delicious meat on it, from sausages to salmon! Location - a great location, close to train station and walking distance to museums, park, old city. Room Cleaning - sometimes I would leave my ”Do Not Disturb” sign a bit longer. And they would still clean the room, and would not forget the turndown service - putting chocolate on a pillow, closing curtains. Loved it. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you guys! Will definitely come back. I hope I get my 917 :)

The hotel Is situated in the backstreets of what seemed like a residential area of Lille. I am not too mobile so the location for me wasn’t great, it was about 10 mins walk to the metro or further to walk into the centre. Lille itself has a lot of beggars so have your wits about you. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was basic but clean and comfortable although very dark die to small window which was covered by outside plants. Booking.com stated free onsite parking but we didn’t realise we needed to request this on the booking so when we arrived the hotel car park was full and we had to pay €14 to leave our car in the stree outside, which was fine but initially we were dubious due to the location of the hotel. For the price we got what we expected.

We stayed here over the Paris Roubaix weekend, had an excellent stay. Great breakfast, parking close by, Easily Cycleable to the Roubaix velodrome in the morning. The manager was extremely helpful, and good English which was useful as my French is terrible. The room was comfortable, could probably do with a couple more pillows, and it was a touch warm, no matter what we pressed to cool it down, but the window was easily opened to let a breeze in.

Stayed one night (driving through Lille) with the family. We reserved a ‘Family Room’ and got two adjacent rooms (connected through an inside door), hence had two bathrooms, TVs, the whole lot. The hotel looks recently renovated (or built), it is very well located in the city center of Loos, plenty of places to eat nearby, a beautiful park, and a Carrefour (in case you need some groceries). The hotel has all measures for dealing with COVID-19 and the breakfast was served to ensure guests are not on top of each other and the food. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended and will pass by again.

Coming from Singapore for 5 days to visit my family and friends, I stayed at this hotel (even I was invited to sleep at my brothers or my mom homes), for the comfort ans it’s proximity to the center and all facilities. The hotel is very well situated, very clean, nicely decorated with pictures, old sewing machines and fabrics machines as the hotel is a conversion of an old fabrics factory. The bedroom was big, very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast has a large variety of delicious dishes, don’t miss the Belgian gaufres (waffles) and the abbey cheese. The hotel staff is very kind and professional. There is a car park and a place to park 1 or 2 tourists buses. There was no shampoo in the bathroom, but there are 4 hairdressers in the area that will make your shampoo and blow dry for 20 €. Just next to the hotel, enjoy a drink at one of the terrasses on the Grand-Place, eat a cake or a dessert at Pierre-Alain ( one of the best in the world) , eat Belgian specialities at La Cloche (rue de Tournai) , try the famous real French fries with mayonnaise and fricandelle (street food on the Grand-place) and buy local food on the market every Tuesday mornings.

GGuest UserExcellent as always, spacious rooms, friendly staff, tasty breakfast, lots of parking space, unique decor (airport) and easu acces to motorways and the towncenter. Never been disapointed, when in need of something just ask the front desk. Never (over)crowded, always easy to check in, if you need something to eat or to drink just walk out side and within 100m you have everything you need. Keep it, happy to have discovered you.

GGuest UserHotel was actually quite nice, the rooms where spacious and it felt contemporary. However, the room was simply not clean. There was a lot of dust everywhere, the shower screen on the bath had scum and stains, all the silicone around the bath was yellow, there was a hair on my bed… just not clean. Also, the pillow was like a joke - a tiny this square pillow! When I entered the room and saw that I though they’d forgotten to put pillows on the bed, imagine! I called reception to ask for a different pillow and thankfully the receptionist was very kind and helpful, and she got me a much nicer one. The hotel staff was very nice (receptionists etc) but the cleanliness of the room really spoiled my stay. This is a 4* hotel, simply not acceptable.

GGuest UserNot just the easiest Ibis to access but once there excellent. Possibly one of the top Ibis I have stayed in. I would definitely recommend this hotel under present management. My trip was related to my wife being in a local clinic and access with the tram system was easy
