I booked 3 junior suits, we were traveling 5 adults and 4 children and in the reservation it was clearly stated that children from 3 to 7 years old entered the room for free. We arrived and they did not have my reservation and they put us in 3 normal rooms with an extra very uncomfortable bed. One of the very small rooms, with a strong smell of tobacco and facing the highway, we could not sleep well. I would like a refund of the overcharge. Thank you

I had prepared for my dissatisfaction by reading reviews - read them… a lot are accurate. The rooms are clean and modern, however there is some tired elements. Cracked and chipped floor tiles, marked walls. We had stained towels and bedding. But the cleaners did a good job. Facilities are good, the pool is great for kids and the lifeguards are great. The pool and beds get really busy, so you do need to Que at 10am to get a sun lounger. I feel the pool is a little small for the size and amount of guests but it’s perfectly fine. The entertainment team are really good, better than the external shows they get in. Would be great if there were more group sports/ activities available but the team are great. Kids club staff are lovely too. Now, the food…. I often ate out as there is no variety, one or two different dishes all night. Not very warm unless it’s a fresh tray. There is fresh pizza which is very nice but quality of the other items is really really poor. There is a pasta bar with a couple of sauces (the same daily for lunch and dinner all week) and the pasta is barely warm. Salad bar looked good Desserts are again disappointing, lots of sloppy dishes Make sure you take cash euros, you have to pay a deposit for your cups to use. You then take it to the bar once you’re done to either refill or return for a token to get another cup later on.s

I stayed at AluaSun this week. I had chosen the location, as it was close to the venue of wedding I was invited to. The hotel is rated as 4 stars, but I would say it’s 3 stars. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite. I didn’t have a remote for the tv and I was given a new one. The cleaning staff work tirelessly. Although the room was pretty basic, the room was cleaned everyday and was left immaculate. It was good to have a balcony that I could sit out in the evening. I spent a couple of days at the adults only pool. This was a quieter area and the life guards were good are maintaining the adult only rule (I do have kids and a husband, but they didn’t come on this trip), so was good to relax. The bigger pool had slides and lots of space. There was never any issues with sun loungers. The pool areas were very clean as well. Overall I had a good time at AluaSun Marella park. The only thing that lets this place down is the food. I had went full board plus. There really isn’t that much choice. The hot food I found quite cold at times. I did find something to eat at most meal times, but more choice and variety would help. The bacon in the mornings was also cremated and the pizza had a burnt base. I wouldn’t go all inclusive or full board. I would probably just go bed and breakfast, as there’s a complex of shops, restaurants and supermarkets that is about 5 minutes walk.

recently stayed at AluaSun Marbella Park and, unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The accommodation feels dated and could definitely use some updating. The pool area is often overcrowded, making it hard to relax. One major downside is their drink token policy — each person is only given one token, and you cannot get a drink without it. If you forget your token, you’re simply out of luck, which is quite frustrating. The location is fairly isolated, although Nikki Beach nearby is a nice spot to visit. Another letdown was the room itself — there was no tea, coffee, or kettle provided, which felt quite basic. We arrived late and, despite our delayed flight, were not even given a complimentary bottle of water in the room; instead, they asked us to pay for it. The restaurant was crowded and chaotic, almost like a cattle market, which made dining an unpleasant experience. The food was very standard and rather boring. Overall, the hotel felt more like a 2-star than what you’d expect in this region. I would not choose to stay here again.

The hotel is nowhere near 4 stars. Rather 2-3 stars. Stay away! -Surrounded by the highway and very hard to leave by foot. -Growth on stones in the kids pool making it dangeroues. -Broken waterslides -Focused on keeping cost down for all inclusive guests making the quality of the food and drinks really bad. -After several mistakes from the reception they do not take any responsibility or even try to compensate.

So I'll start with the positives, which there aren't many. The rooms are spacious and kept relatively clean, the cleaners are very efficient. The entertainment team work very hard. That's the positives. The negatives: The rooms are kept clean but quite old and tired, lots of stains, very loud noises coming from the drains at night, they scared my little one. While the entertainment work hard and the kids disco is cute, I'm not sure what they are doing at the after show, every evening was weirder, it was like they decided two minutes before and threw something weird together, we never stayed because they just were so strange. Maybe they could just continue a disco, as the kids love it and they don't have to do much. The food is atrocious, like absolutely atrocious. Even breakfast was inedible. It's the first time I've been to a 4 star hotel in Spain that the breakfast wasn't good. It really was horrible. We stuck it out though (only breakfast) but ate out for all our other meals. The only thing I felt safe to eat was cereal, because they didn't make it. The first night we got here, it's a good bit walk to the rooms and we had no kettle in the room so i rung down and went and got one, it was very late and my little ones were wrecked and when i came back, there was no cups in the room. I've never been to a 4 star hotel that didn't have a little coffee/tea tray. The receptionist said he should have told me if I wanted a cup go back down to the bar and I have to pay for one (a deposit). This is not a 4 star hotel in my opinion, it's a 2 star hotel. They will charge you for anything they can. It's ridiculous. The slides were fun but pool sun lounger space is limited and with little ones you want to be able to see, that was a bit annoying. The location is awful, on a main road, I picked it for the slides, we usually go to torremolinos and I will never come back to this area. It really is like a 2 star hotel and I like proper nice hotels that have a bit of luxury, this is not luxury.

Good and quick check in. I needed also a parking spot, it was an extra charge but no problem parking during my stay. Parking is large and plenty of room. Rooms were kept clean and tidy. Towels changed every time I left them on the floor as instructed. Breakfast was a bit too repetitive for a weeks stay but not too bad. Music or some show was on every night. I did not participate so cannot comment on quality. Some negatives - Bed was a bit crooked to one side - Freezer did not work properly was probably connected to electricity card switch on the wall and was not on all the time

We just spent a week here. Myself, my son and my best friend and her daughter. The hotel was lovely and clean. The beds are possibly the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept in on a holiday. Rooms cleaned daily. This is a great place for kids! The pools are lovely and locked up until 10.30am so no stupid rush for a sun bed every morning! The kids spent near enough all week in the pool and on the slides they’re absolutely fab! The entertainment staff were so lovely too and the evening entertainment was always really fun! We didn’t venture out too much but just around the corner is a supermarket and a row of restaurants. The beach is just a short walk away. The food in the restaurant was not as bad as made out on some of the reviews here… a little repetitive but I think that’s to be expected with an all inclusive! The snack bar is brilliant though, snacks made fresh to order. All in all we’ve had the most brilliant week away here and I would highly recommend!
