This lovely hotel is located at Marina de Maratea 5 kms south of Maratea proper (and has a separate train station that many trains do. It stop at so check your train ticket!). The hotel does have a shuttle and they kindly picked us up from Maratea station. Rooms are very pleasant and in really good order. The restaurant onsite is excellent. Breakfasts were delightful as was the dinner we had there. Staff were super helpful and friendly. The hotel has a private beach, but there is a public one close by. Wifi in rooms can be weak at times but is strong up in the reception lounge. The hotel has a great indoor pool and bar area. All up if you opt to stay near the beach then this hotel at Marina de M is a fantastic option, we really enjoyed it.

My husband and I stayed at this place for 3 nights. We had our own private patio with a view I could not stop observing. Our walks within the area included waves crashing upon the rocks, a huge array of plant life, and so much more. The hotel was an incredible value and the staff was absolutely fabulous. We also ate in the restaurant which provided additional views and delicious food.

This was our second visit to this wonderful paradise, just a few minutes from Maratea and a short drive to Christ the Redeemer statue. The entire hotel is calm, clean, comfortable, and relaxing, and a great breakfast is served at the adjacent restaurant. We recommend getting a room with a balcony and so you can watch the gorgeous sunset over the Mediterranean in the evenings, and sometimes see dolphins splashing in the mornings The housekeeping staff is thorough and attentive, but really the staff is wonderful and welcoming, especially Michela.

I stayed at Hotel Martino several times with my family and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. It’s a family owned business, and the nearby restaurant called La Locanda di Nettuno, is where you will have breakfast and lunch or dinner if you have a half board plan. The owners are 100% customer-focused, especially Antonio at reception and the restaurant, and Andrea, the chef. Rooms have a fair size, they were recently renovated and most of them look at the sea. At this hotel, you will experience one of the best sunsets of your whole life from your room, every day with different tones and colors. Lots of good quality options for breakfast (fresh fruits, bread, cakes, yogurt, cereals, coffee and tea), excellent seafood-based food with top notch local ingredients at the restaurant, always very clean and a beautiful and well-maintained garden and a private beach are some of Hotel Martino’s strengths. They also have an indoor pool that you can enjoy from 9 to 7pm.

Excellent welcome from the staff who gave us all the information requested. The room with a stunning view of the coast was clean, very spacious bed, which given the presence of a small child was much appreciated. The presence of solid soap for the shower pleasantly surprised me, an eye for the environment never hurts. Excellent shuttle service to the beach equipped with a lido in agreement ... a pearl in all respects. Furthermore, the location of the hotel allowed us to reach the town in a very short time. The only flaw, in my opinion, is the breakfast, small portions and above all being intolerant to milk, I was pleased to note the presence of suitable milk and yogurt, but no pastry products ... I had to settle for jam and rusks .

We stopped at the hotel for a stopover on the way to Sicily and we are fully satisfied. The structure is small and welcoming, combining architectural elements from its past with modern elements (new bathrooms and excellent air conditioning), in case of bad weather it offers a large indoor swimming pool with different depth levels, also the location is beautiful. panoramic with sea view and Michela at the reception is very kind. Breakfast is served at the nearby Locanda, with a panoramic terrace.

My wife and I have been spending part of our summer holidays at Hotel Martino for many years now and it never disappoints us. Everything perfect: services offered, breathtaking views, cleanliness, quiet rooms, breakfasts and restaurant (commendable !!!!!). Also of note is the beauty of the coast of Maratea: one of the pearls of which Italy must be proud. I thank Antonio and his staff for the professionalism and kindness shown. We will meet again soon.

The hotel is very welcoming. The rooms are cozy and with a good view of the sea. However, compared to previous years in which we stayed, we noticed, on half board, a lesser choice of courses. Regarding breakfast, we suggest to restore the buffet service which is faster than table service

Hotel Martino is much more than a hotel. The location is fantastic, sea view, and what a sea! The rooms are new and the furniture is "fresh". The sea view rooms are fantastic. The staff are professional and familiar at the same time. The terrace where you have breakfast, lunch and dinner is wonderful. The quality of the restaurant is high. The services are at the top. The sea facing the lido is gorgeous. The lido offers excellent service. The very competitive cost. And what about Antonio? An exceptional person. The only limit: when you go there, then you don't want to go home ... 😂
