Excellent service & food. Rooms are old style, not modern but very well equipped, comfortable and lots of attention to detail, like sockets by the bedside and many other places, lots of light and lamps so a bright room. The bathroom and toilet are outside with a thatched roof. Shower is great but not fun going to the loo in the middle of the night with mosquitos waiting to pounce on you. Food is so so amazing, everything tasted so good. Staff and service is out of this world, where they think of everything. Pool is a good size but can become crowds if hoards of children are in. Beach is long with soft sand and relatively clean for India.

The resort itself is well appointed with an absolutely amazing mineral pool that the children spent a lot of time in. The beds are comfortable with great linens. The range of activity on offer very day is great. A special mention to the “owl parliament” birdwatching activity and the guides (Vishnu and Shibu) who can see things I would have never spotted! The bird watching was definitely a trip highlight. Food was also really impressive. The dosas at breakfast were perfectly crisped, the live appams were amazing and the buffet was both tasty with plenty of healthy eating options. The beach itself is stunning, but the waves are pretty big. Sunset is special. All in all, a really impressive experience!

The best thing we did at the hotel was the nature walk at the hotel with mr Shibu. We enjoyed it so much that we went to his garden and viewed the birds, which was great. We saw many varieties, which mr Shibu was able to identify and describe in detail. He is very knowledgeable and friendly—a real pleasure to meet. Additionally we were extremely well served by the excellent wait staff including Bintci (sorry about the spelling)! Our room with the pool was absolutely lovely—we enjoyed having our own pool immensely. Really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent property Beautiful individual spacious huts , awesome outdoor bathroom feel very connected to nature . Food is excellent with huge buffet choice throughout the day . Fresh water swimming pool . Totally private property with access to beach . Very good activities throughout the day bird spotting /butterfly sanctuary/owl spotting . Excellent spa facilities with Aryuvedic doctor on site . Only negative pesky mosquitoes 🦟

We really enjoyed our stay. The naturalist talks and owl hunts were fascinating. Many thanks to Shibu, Vishnu and Arun for sharing their expert knowledge and showing us so much wildlife that we would otherwise have missed completely. Also thanks to Anushka for the fun archery.
