Marari Praise Beachfront Homestay

It’s a beautiful Neet & clean Home Stay waking distance from Beach you can see Sea and Beach from Balcony of First Floor Rooms. Nicely managed by Praisy and her brother Jiji who was so humble and soft spoken. Breakfast was delicious and classical Kerala food. Loved location, Welcoming Host and over experience at Marari Praise.

Loved this homestsy. Stayed for 4 nights and didn’t want to leave. The location was amazing - right on the sea front. From my room I could watch the fishermen in the morning return with their catch and sort their nets. Very quiet - perfect place to relax. Staff were very friendly and JiJi in particular couldn’t have been helpful. The room was large, spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. My idea of paradise.

The Marari Praise Homestay must be one of the best beach accommodation that we have ever stayed in. It is set right at the waters edge of the gorgeous palm tree lined Marari Beach. The host was really fantastic and couldn’t do enough to help us. Very clean and pleasant rooms and the most fantastic view out onto the beach and the Indian Ocean. Can’t recommend this place enough.

We, group of 12 friends stayed for one night in this beautiful beachfront homestay. We booked directly with the owner. We occupied all the four rooms. Upstairs rooms are very spacious and amazing views from the balcony. You can enjoy the sunset from the balcony. Best homestay in Mararikulam. If you step out, you will walk on the beach sand. Food was delicious. Chechi prepared authentic Kerala dishes. We liked Fish curry and rasam very much. We had our Lunch, Dinner and Breakfast in the homestay only. Jiji will take care all your needs. Very picturesque place.. We enjoyed our stay..

If you plan to stay at Mararikulam, you should try to get a booking at the Praise marari homestay. I say this because it will enhance your overall experience of Kerala. First it is right on the beach, miles and miles of pristine sea and sand less than 10 ft from the homestay. There are two rooms on the first floor and two on the ground floor. The rooms on the first floor open to a large verandah offering a panoramic view of the sea throughout the day. Also you can watch the fishermen bringing in the morning catch and an a weekend you can see a tourist or two walk by. Second the rooms are large, air conditioned with attached bathrooms and cleaned regularly. Toiletries are sparse but you can ask for more. But what sets the Praise marari apart from the rest is the food which is outstanding. Chechi 's cooking has to be the 'BEST IN KERALA' , we gorged on mountains of idli, dosa and tons of sambhar and coconut chutney, all freshly prepared each day. We also had lunch and dinner on several occasions. Chechi 's food is a true reflection of authentic Kerala cooking, prepared with a zillion ingredients, spices and lots of love and care. Nothing can beat that. Also the warmth of the entire family of four is a precious gift which enlivens your holiday to another level. Praisy and Praise the kids and Kosy and Rini their parents work very hard to ensure that everything is perfect for you. The homestay truly felt like a warm and loving home. We stayed three weeks and wish we could stay more.

I found a real paradise on the beach. As a female solo traveller I found many advantages being hosted by Praisy, Prais and their parents: first of all the kindness and availability for any of my requests; the home food was fresh and delicious; the room was very spacious and clean. I really felt safe and I would recommend this accommodation to any couple or solo traveller which are exploring Kerala.
