We had the most incredible stay at Kandili Camp. We were greeted at the airport by George and Moses who were so lovely and welcoming, and were our guides for the duration of our stay. Their expertise and passion led us to some absolutely incredible experiences with the wildlife!!! In terms of the camp itself, the location is prime - situated close to the Maasai Mara Reserve. The tents had everything we needed, and were so gorgeous opening to views of the conservancy! And the food was just delicious, thanks to Chef Solomon! The team at Kandili go above and beyond to take care of you, and they are such kind people! Joel, the fabulous camp manager, even played a round of Scrabble with us on one stormy afternoon. I cannot recommended Kandili Camp enough!

Very remote location that is hard to find but worth it. Our luxury tent was perfect for two nights. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Meals were fantastic. View the animals right from your tent. Close to park entrance. Sunsets were amazing and a must see. Loved this place. Watching 5 elephants from our bed was priceless.

The staff at Kandili are fantastic and care for you, 5 stars to them , the size of the individual tents are good , laundry is priced into the fee, but nothing else is going on in the camp in terms of vibe or activities. It simply cannot command USD 700 plus per night plus the $100 conservancy fee per night per person for the facilities and the food they provide. For the service they provide they cannot charge more than USD 200. The food and the facilities are very average to poor specially if you are a vegetarian. The juice for breakfast is from a concentrate straight from a juice box/packet. We did not get hot water in the morning, best to take shower in the afternoon when you get back from the game drive. This camp was suggested to us by our TO . There were hardly anyone at the camp when we visited in July.

The accomodation, food and vistas at this tented cafe are sensational. It is a small Conservancy but we saw lots of elephants and a cheetah up close. William made sure we had a wonderful stay. I highly recommend this lodge to anyone on their way to the Masai Mara National Park.

Wonderful experience in the Maasai Mara! William (the camp manager) and all the staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and attentive. We went on a lovely bush walk in the conservancy where we got a good idea of the lay of the land. On our safari into the Maasai Mara National Reserve, our guides from Kandili expertly traversed the park and found us some exceptional encounters with the park’s wildlife. At the camp, the food was excellent, the location for meal times was beautiful, including a bonfire for dinner time and the accommodation was comfortable and clean. If we are ever in this area of Kenya again we will certainly be returning customers! Asante sana, Kandili Camp!

Underwhelming experience overall, especially at $600+/N; I would not come back. - Note it's a small conservancy, so your game drives there would be fairly limited; if I go back to a conservancy, I'd pick a larger one (but may just focus on the reserve, which has a higher density of wildlife, although some limitations as you can't drive offroad or do a walk) - I liked the overall set up/location: very remote! - Tents look good, but some serious issues to fix: toilet flush wouldn't stop at night; the tarpaulin sheet between the shower and the room is NOT connected to the floor so water got into the room (and personal belongings got wet...); no commercial gesture was offered to compensate us for the inconvenience, which was disappointing - Good food

Had a perfect time at Kandili Camp! Every staff member went above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience. The tents/whole camp area were lovely and comfortable. The food was amazing; I even have a weird food allergy, and they were very accommodating. Jackson took me on game drives, and was so kind and knowledgeable.

Amazing experience! The tents were very comfortable and being in an open camp was a really neat feature! But what stood out to us the most was the amazing staff! Truly the hardest working, kindest people. We highly recommend a stay here!

Even though the rooms are beautiful and the views and location are amazing (right in the middle of the sabana with wild animals around you), what makes this place truly unique is the staff: extremely kind and caring people that make you feel very welcome and are there for everything you need, and since there are just a few rooms, the whole experience feels very personalized. 100% recommend!!
