Beautiful stay at the Sheraton Mar del Plata! The hotel is beautiful, rooms decor were not my favourite but super clean. Bathroom was very modern and nice. Breakfast was amazing! The quality of the food was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive. There are many good restaurants nearby. The pool area is wonderful. It has a well equipped gym although some of the machines need a bit of TLC. We really enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton and would recommend it if visiting Mar del Plata. The guys at the entrance were the best, always with a smile and super helpful

I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. I booked two rooms for five days at a cost of 1,200,000 pesos (approximately 1458 dollars), and I feel that the value paid is not reflected in the services and amenities offered. The rooms are notably small, and surprisingly, parking is not included despite it being a 3-star hotel. The value for money was not as expected. Furthermore, facilities like the swimming pool are inadequate for the number of guests; it is too small and lacks enough space to sit comfortably. Another area for improvement is the noise level in the rooms at night, particularly from the fridge, and the design of the bathroom, which is uncomfortable especially in the area of the bidet and shower. I hope this feedback will be useful in improving the experience for future guests. I appreciate the staff's attention, but I believe certain aspects need to be adjusted to justify the price of the stay

Hotel estilo clásico de cierta antigüedad, refaccionado. Excelente ubicación. En principio, quiero destacar la muy buena predisposición del personal del hotel. Desde mi punto de vista, y en todo momento, se mostraron cordiales y educados. El desayuno muy completo, tanto de dulce como de salado, en el salón del 7mo. piso. Si bien, no me sucedió, he leído en otras experiencias que, a veces, ese salón se llena. Con respecto a la habitación (5to. piso), intentaré ser objetivo: Me pareció excelente en cuanto a iluminación, vista (frente a la plaza), y espacio, pero un poco ruidosa, quizás por su ubicación, por lo que se escucha bastante el ruido de máquinas de construcción, y algún que otro griterío de discusión en la calle durante la madrugada. Las persianas, de madera, creo que ya se ganaron su jubilación... PVC o aluminio serían una interesante opción. En cuanto a la limpieza, creo que habría que prestarle atención a alguna que otra telaraña que había por allí. L o que más me llamó la atención fue la cantidad de material (polvo/arena de revoque) que había en el estante sobre el que descansa el cofre guarda-valores. Me sorprendió que no esté amurado, por lo que aproveché para bajarlo, y noté que la parte superior del mismo necesitaba algo de limpieza, tanto como las maderas que hacen de estante. Dado que era domingo a la tarde/noche, me pareció inapropiado ir a la conserjería a pedir que me dejaran usar una aspiradora (risas), por lo que decidí ocuparme personalmente del tema con los recursos de los que disponía en ese momento, Pienso que logré un muy buen resultado, y la diferencia fue notoria. Con respecto al baño, está refaccionado con porcelanato, y pienso que quedó muy bien, pero hay un detalle inherente a la seguridad: el piso de porcelanato de la bañera quedó muy lindo, y tal vez sea más práctico para su limpieza, pero podría ser peligroso para alguien con los pies enjabonados. Además, habría que tomar nota de la vista a través de la ventana, dado que se ve desde el edificio que está enfrente, sobre San Martín, lo que obliga a subir y bajar la persiana, para que se ventile como para que no se vea tanto, respectivamente. El piso de parquet habría tenido muy linda terminación en sus comienzos, aunque me parece que ya está un poquitín ”cachuzo”, debido al tiempo transcurrido. También sería satisfactorio que las ventanas tengan mosquiteros. Eso no sólo impediría la entrada de mosquitos, sino también la caída de objetos hacia el exterior. Por otro lado, entiendo que estuvieron, o están en refacciones. El asunto es que suelo usar la escalera con frecuencia, y noté que la baranda de la misma necesitaría una limpieza. Por último, me pregunto si el desprendimiento de material dentro del placar se debiera a algún posible problema de filtración de humedad. Bueno sería ver ese tema. A pesar de todo lo expuesto, vuelvo a recalcar el buen trato, y atención del personal. Hasta la próxima, y gracias. Carlos

Realmente pudimos relajarnos. La habitación silenciosa, colchón excelente. Desayuno variado y rico, desde la fruta hasta la planificación. Sería bueno contar con climatización individual en la habitación. El personal muy atento! Fue una buena experiencia
