San Remo Grand Hotel

Small rooms. The bathroom was leaking water, we notified the manager, she took note and told us that a plumber was going to come, something that never happened and the bathroom flooded. The closet had no door and the cleaning service entered even through the door. The window was full of pigeon poop and even eggs, we couldn't open the window because of the disgusting smell and the pigeons, the air conditioning didn't work. The mattress is spring-loaded and has a point that sticks out that punctured our legs. My husband was stuck in the elevator for more than half an hour and the buzzer doesn't work. They didn't even apologize and if it hadn't been for another guest, no one would have helped him. The pool with dirty water. We asked for the complaints book and they told us they don't have it. We went to rest and we felt that the hotel is not prepared to receive people. The only good thing is the breakfast and the location. We visited other hotels that cost the same and are a thousand times nicer and closer to the beach. The photos with which the hotel is promoted are not current, much less the games room. There is a lot of maintenance missing for the price they charge! Very bad experience and waste of money because we couldn't rest!

The hotel service is terrible, musty smell, furniture in poor condition. Terrible toilets. I don't know if they respect rest hours. They host a contingent of teenagers and there is continuous noise and the people responsible for the hotel do not take care of it

The only good thing is the pressure and water in the shower. In relation to the price, it is not a 3 star. It looks like a cheap accommodation hotel. The poor attention and the worst thing is the garage is just any shed. And they don't respect the places. The hair dryer is in the photo but they don't have one. And I didn't stay for breakfast because I couldn't stand being in a place like that any longer.

They stole an entire bag and other things from us during a few hours that we were not at the hotel!! They took the time to select what to take. We had to go to make the complaint around midnight, with terrible weather because the hotel didn't want to call, we left without a concrete answer! They made us wait 3 hours the next day for the manager to arrive (she never arrived at the time they had told us) and the worst thing was they told us to look at the bags of those who were leaving to see if there was one... A shame that no one noticed take responsibility... the lock was not forced, they entered with the magnetic key that we had left at reception.

I'm not one to give bad comments, but I would like what I'm going to detail to serve so that no one has a bad time like me when entering this "hotel", everything in disrepair, in poor condition and dirty. Advertising lies, the photos on the website are all with a lot of filters, they exaggerate one aspect, everything is rusty, old, and broken wherever you look at it. It says "gym" and it only has 3 machines that are dilapidated, they don't work, no one can use them. The pool is impossible, the water is ice cold and it is very small, always full of people. The spa is a joke, the place is unpleasant, and it doesn't make you want to relax, everything irritates you. The Wi-Fi doesn't work for them, they have two networks that neither works. The door to my room slammed shut (606). They had to replace the refrigerator in the room because of the rotten smell it had. The towels are tiny. The pillows are a joke, small and without filling. The size of the room: there were 3 of us where two more or less comfortable beds fit, there is no space for anything. They don't have a hair dryer (Grand Hotel San Remo🤦‍♀️). The TV can be seen with rain on the 10 channels it has. The elevators: you can spend 15 minutes waiting for them to stop on your floor, we end up using stairs, they break down and people come down with babies in strollers x stairs. And the last thing, they have a garage next door that when I entered with the car I had to back out because it is lower than the conventional ones (I have a car, not a truck, it has never happened to me in any garage), and they have another one that they charge you and they don't have place never (I didn't see it, but I heard complaints about it, that it was overbooked, according to another passenger). It is expensive in relation to the poor condition of everything. It's very loud, you can hear everything. People run or shout in the hallways and it seems like they are inside the room. The good, the breakfast (very good pastries) and the location. I tried to discuss these issues with the concierge, telling him that I did not want to end up like this, writing a lengthy complaint, and he told me that the hotel manager was going to contact him, which also did not happen and that is why I am recounting my experience, so that they do not believe What the hotel publishes, there must be much better places for the same money, which was not little.

We booked an apart style, it only has a refrigerator and microwave. There is no stove, there is no dishes. The table is for one person only. The room is good in size and cleaned daily, the sheets were already transparent. The pool and children's games were not in good condition either. The location is one block from the pedestrian area, very central. Breakfast without fresh fruits, powder-style juice, and a lot of pastries which were not delicious. In general it is an old building and the lack of maintenance is noticeable. I hope they can improve it.
