Okay hotel and good location, no idea how it’s 3 stars. It’s quite expensive for what it is. They say double bed, it’s two uncomfortable single beds pushed together with a fair gap in between. They say full spa, it’s not at all. Restaurant was fairly good but very mediocre breakfast without hot water most mornings.
Air con broke and electrocuted me and all they said was that we should’ve told them immediately it was broken, which we did.

Not all the rooms, including ours, have excellent views of the ocean. The photos in the listing give the impression that ocean views are the norm, not the exception. Any room on the 3rd floor or below has a building that effectively blocks most of the ocean view. Our room did have a partial ocean view and, for the most part, was very nice. The receptionists were friendly and helpful.

Do your research
The hotel was nice but far away from the airport and located away from the downtown. I did not know that MDP had a series of beaches that stretched about 8 to 10 km. If you can do better research than I did, you may come up with a better hotel for walkability for resturants, services or attractions.

Check the reservation carefully, you say that you make it directly with the hotel. It is better to do it for these applications. You still have to check carefully before accepting. My complaint is that the hotel owners have to control their employees

A shame The 2x2 bathroom has a shower without water containment and the entire bathroom floods. They leave you a floor cloth with a dryer and they tell you to dry the bathroom. I have never seen such a horrible tall.

The facilities are not bad, but I didn't like the room at all. The bad mattress and the worse pillows. There was a musty smell. The breakfast coffee was cold. The rest is fine, the attention is not bad, but I really couldn't rest. I didn't feel comfortable. I would not go back
