It was a solid stay would recommend, the staff were very well trained and handled the numerous travellers booking in at the same time.
For the price point offered this hotel was an excellent price for the location in regards to the cairns CBD meaning a short 5 min drive gave access to all that the CBD offered

Room was ok but had many ants and was smelling bad. Bad choice.. no microwave. Basic hygiene missing at the cost you pay.

Room was a little smaller than I thought but still had plenty of room.

Huge place. Parking is limited on premises. You have to park in street.
Main restaurant has playground which is also outside of a block of rooms. Children were still yelling and playing up to 10pm. Made it difficult to sleep if older. Also the Mini golf and cart riding is about a country mile away out the very back of the huge property and is not free. 2024 Mini golf was $12 pp

Cairns Colonial Club Resort is a perfect place for a stay in Cairns. Staff is nice and friendly, swimming pools are great and restaurants give you good options for food. Rooms are a bit old and carpet has seen better days, but still acceptable and clean. I’ve read some bad reviews online but sometimes problems come from hosts, we should all be respectful, small effort would mean a better experience for everyone.
