The rooms are very basic and have an old-school charm. Our room was satisfactorily clean and had an air purifier in addition to the heat/ac unit, which was appreciated. A hair dryer is provided as well as liquid hand soap and body wash mounted on the walls. No suitcase stand is provided but there is one chair in the room.
Check in was easy and we left the door keys on the dresser at checkout. Our room was located around the back of the motel where it seemed that there were long-term guests that were loud late into the evenings and early in the mornings while the front of the motel appeared to be mostly empty, but the location on Manteo was nice and we were able to walk to several nearby stores and restaurants.
