Very nice place and brilliant idea to have accommodations on Saona Island.
Highly recommend. Not the Taj Mahal or a 5 star but what is? Clean and comfortable and the AC (mini split) works like a champ as does the ceiling fan and all electrical outlets. And the toilet works. Nice bed and bedding and great host.
The area is rustic and bare bones but that is a charm too. Go eat where you see flamingos. Nice variety.
Good folks and a throw back area to when life was slower and without screens running our lives.
If you want an all inclusive easy peasy lifestyle this ain’t it. If you want to deplug from the matrix a day or two this is the place to do it.
You will appreciate the things you that have more and want less the things you think you must have. Isn’t that the best place a vacation should get you to?

The place is good if you are there for the beach. Beach is beautiful, the experience geting to the island roundtrip was $40 total per person. Do not expect anything fancy. Bikes were out of order but SUP and kayaks wete available free of charge.

Simple not luxury but everything you need they have. The location is superb right at the beach. Great shower, good airco and friendly service. Value for money

Comincio dalle note positive....ha la posizione migliore dell' isola! E Mano Juan è un posto di rata bellezza, unico nel suo genere! L allestimento esterno in stile relax caraibico è veramente notevole! Gabi è una padrona di casa eccezionale. Nel periodo in cui siamo capitati noi è stata colpita da disavventure personali ciò nonostante ha fatto di tutto perché il nostro soggiorno andasse nel migliore dei modi. Una escursione non andata proprio bene nelle tempistiche sempre a causa di disguidi personali non c'è l ha fatta pagare. Il mojito è uno dei più buoni mai assaggiati. Anche la cucina è notevole. Nota dolente, come spunto per migliorare.... eccessivamente lunghi i tempi di attesa! 4 stelle forse sarebbe più appropriato anziché 5 perché secondo me potrebbe migliorare gli interni, un po' angusti e spartani, non curati come l esterno.... anche se.... con una natura così bella l'interno lo vivi veramente poco....ma è un punto su cui poter migliorare! In complesso comunque esperienza unica....natura impareggiabile, così come la possibilità di oziare dondolandosi i su un amaca con una birretta fresca sotto una palma!

A Casa Rosada foi uma grata surpresa em nossa viagem. Oferece uma experiência única na ilha Saona para quem deseja desfrutar de dias mais tranquilos com conforto. As instalações são simples e quartos pequenos, porém com muito bom gosto e comodidades. Tudo em nosso quarto estava funcionando muito bem (chuveiro, tomadas, ar condicionado, frigobar bem abastecido). Adoramos ao chegarmos na ilha sermos recepcionados no pier. Também adoramos o restaurante do estabelecimento. As refeições são generosas (o que permitia compartilhar em duas pessoas) e muito saborosas. O visual da praia é excelente e a pequena estrutura na areia são ótimos para desfrutar do local. Infelizmente há alguns cachorros sem donos na ilha, que muitas vezes ficam juntos de nós, sobem nas espreguiçadeiras, cadeiras e bancos. Oferece fácil acesso a linda praia El Toro em caminhada de 40 minutos por trilha desde Manu Juan. Tivemos dificuldade na comunicação sobre como chegar na ilha Saona, o que causou muita insegurança. No final, basta escapar dos diversos vendedores de passeios para Saona, ir em Bayahibe na Muelle de Salida às 08 horas da manhã, de onde parte o barco todos os dias. Recomendamos a hospedagem na Casa Rosada!
