OYO Hotel Manning SC

A staff free motel. No staff at motel. Had long term tenants staying at the back of hotel. Room was OK.

This motel is a scam and needs and will be reported to police and further investigation departments. Room was booked online upon arrival the front desk without badge start demanding $100 cash as deposit , however their official website states deposit is $50 and can be done in credit , debit card or cash. I said I would like to put deposit on the card he started negotiate and demanded $50 cash, I insisted that would like to use card. The person refused to tell his name , obviously wasn’t wear any badge , refused to give name or contact of the manager. And shut the window I. Front of face and never come back again. ******* were not able to reach this scam hotel and when I called next day situation repeat they refuse to give any contact for management and hung up. Here is the pic of the man who did the scam, if someone was scammed by him and this hotel please contact me for filing group lawsuit and performing investigation about this place. I have videos of how they scam people.

Terrible By far crappies motel ever First only number you can find for it is reservation center for oyo that offers you a price then get there and they don't honor it Worst part got to room around 11pm got room key didn't work had to get reset Room smelled so bad of smoke and bedspread full of burns Floor filthy No covers on plugs Missing light bulb in lamp open socket other lamp no switch Poop stuck to toilet Soap left in shower Pulled comforter back and sheets and pillowcases filthy I was tired so I stayed but had them give me new pillow cases but still looked dirty Microwave was filthy tub had hair and used bar of soap Tv and mirrors gad stuff all over them Mirrors on ceiling above bed and walls probably cameras behind them AC leaked all over floor Door seal hanging off bottom off door I went and asked to see a different room it was way worse mold on the walls an in fridge Left work as soon as I could and told them I didn't want to stay here anymore Was told no refunds but I explained how bad it was dirty and stinky after arguing with them she agreed to refund part of week still charged me for 2 days and service fee Stayed there maybey 5 hrs So once she charged me for two days said I had to leave Already been charged from reservation website and 2 nights only staying 5 hrs I couldn't afford to get new room yet Said I had 5 min to leave I was packing up my stuff so I wiped everything down including Nasty floor and toilet said I would leave In morning didn't want to stay in crapiest motel ever but I already had to much invested after being charged for time I wasn't there and reservation charges Never will recommend this place

I wish I could leave a zero star. The front desk guy was a true ****. We drove 7 hours to the hotel from Florida as a pit stop before our destination to DC. I got to the window he asked for my Id and he said I didn’t have a reservation. I could barely understand him to be honest he spoke broken English. He threw my drivers license back at me and he was adamant that it was not in the computer and took his fingers and aggressively pointed hard at the screen as if I didn’t understand what a computer was. He then was cursing at me and my boyfriend and basically denied service as I tried to show him my reservation for *********. He got aggressive and started pounding on the glass at my boyfriend and said why were you not here at 4pm? it upset my boyfriend so they had an exchange of words. He slammed the glass window and said he was calling the cops. The cops agree the guy was insane they saw the evidence on my phone with the booking and I called ********** and they heard I do have a reservation. I went to reviews and saw what they do is a scam they take the reservations online however they cancel and charge more for ppl that walk in. Oyo customer service was then called my card was on file and they said the front desk (aka) the small motel window cancelled it in-house. I gave the phone to the cops and they confirmed he cancelled it and they were fully booked because they charge more money to walk ins verses ppl that book online. It’s all a scam I’ve never been talked down to nor been treated horribly at any hotel big or small. I don’t recommend you ever stay here. I had to last minute hunt a hotel and pay three times as much last minute booking. Stay away and run from the crappy old decrepit motel. The cops had a roach run over there boots it was straight up disgusting. If that was outside I can’t imagine inside.

I thought I was getting a deal paid online 40 something dollars when I got to the guy told me I couldn't have a room for 40 something dollars he wasn't doing it you made me pay another $20 I would have left but I didn't have no more money my money was short and I'd already paid online he told me get back ahold of ********** and get my money back if I didn't want the room it was late at night I was tired so I paid the extra 20 don't stay here very rude and they try to rip you off
