My stay at Madhuvan Serai was really good and comfortable and even the food was available easily and tasty. It is a very affordable option for everyone without compromising comfort. I would highly recommend the stay to everyone visiting Manipal.

It's a very good hotel in Manipal. Very clean, Big room. Staff is very helpful. Food is excellent. It's pure Veg. It is the best hotel to stay if your child studies at MIT or KMC. I stayed there more than twice and shall stay during my next visit too. Love this place.

Spacious and very clean rooms and toilets. Well maintained and prompt housekeeping. Veg breakfast was OK. You may even walk 500m to Pai tiffin from the hotel to have amazing breakfast. Parking available, in a semicircle kind of pathway around the hotel as it has other commercial establishments adjacent to it.

Room was comfortable and the staff was very hospitable. Did not explore amenities or restaurants much as therefore plenty of nice places nearby.

Travelling solo and the staff have been kind, courteous and very helpful. I had a delayed check out which was brilliant and helped me leave my bags safe whilst I waited for onward transport. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Reception staff excellent. I would visit again

Positives - spacious room, reasonable A/C, bottle of water in room at checkin, rooms appeared clean Negatives - minimal hot water for bathing, uncomfortable bed, noisy (!!!), promised complementary breakfast was minimalistic and largely inedible, promised 'toiletries' = bar of soap only, internet frequently interrupted, many staff couldn't seem to answer questions, power interruptsion occurred frequently during my stay. Overall, the 3-star rating is a farce (fair = 2-star). This is not a high end hotel, not even mid-level. The online reviews appear to have been written by the hotel itself because what I wrote above was agreed to by others with whom I spoke. I've been in worse hotels, but

The stay was fairly good. However, the breakfast was average and room service was not available. The room staff should be more proactive and ensure the guests who travel from far are made comfortable. Overall it was neat and hygienic and location was very prime next to shops and eateries. 5
