Mangawhai Heads Holiday Park

Had a mistake of booking for 1 person instead of two. Website was a bit weird but staff was lovely and on to it! Facilities were complete - kitchen was clean, cooking facilities were spotless and clean., toilets and showers were clean. Awesome place overall. Would go back with out a doubt! Highly recommend!

Beautiful Views of the camp on water's edge. The camp itself is well maintained great showers. Like most of the camps up here operated on a coin water is precious up here small price to pay for the wonderful views up here in Mangawhai. It is certainly worth the trip up here & visit for a few days. The township further down the road the Village & the Heads themselves walks on the beach

Loved these grounds. So clean and tidy and really nice facilities. Location was perfect for stunning walks, surf beach, estuary and the village centre for eating out. Really impressed. We stayed in a small cabin which was comfy and cosy. Loved our short stay.

Excellent camp site with clean, user friendly amenities and beach was so much fun for the kids. Great location close to shops and other activities. The sites were well located close to the beach with plenty of trees for shade. Bathrooms and showers all very clean and nice to use.

We stayed for a week in a self contained cabin and had the best time. The cabin was tastefully decorated, and the bed was super comfortable, as were the pillows. We loved the small deck and had breakfast outside every morning. The weather was perfect and I swam at the beach every day. Very quiet at night under huge skies full of stars.

We were fortunate to be allocated the front cabin which had the best view of the family cabins allowing our young kids to run around outside in the open grass. I'm guessing that this space is often filled with tents during the peak season. The cabin was clean and tidy although the fan on the third bunk and fan in the bathroom certainly need a cleaning. Luckily we only had two kids staying in the bunks so didn't need anyone to sleep on the very top bunk close to the incredibly dusty fan. Netflix was advertised in the cabin. However, we couldn't get it to work. We tried contacting the office although called just outside of the hours. No one checked in with us the next day to see if we still needed help connecting, so we were unable to enjoy this service.
