Fabulous experience. Beautiful house with spectacular wrap-around verandah and amazing views. Good old-fashioned bed and breakfast experience. Bacon and eggs and homemade jams are included in the price

Very comfortable room with a lovely balcony and a gorgeous view. The common room, with its lovely furnishings, useful information and wrap-around verandah, was spectacular. Breakfast with that view was a delight. Jeannette was lovely, a real pleasure to sit and talk with. Having retired from her nursing work now, after 27 years running The Lodge, she is looking forward to a well-deserved rest, and has decided to put the place on the market, hopefully to be sold to someone who will continue the tradition as a going concern.

We were lucky enough to stay here for 3 days Lovely room with direct access to balcony. Jeanette was an amazing host and made us feel welcome Beautiful breakfasts and lovely lounge and dining room We throughly enjoyed our stay and will come back

The lodge has big estuary and sea views, so it is great to sit on the deck and see what is happening out there. Jeannette is very hospitable and we enjoyed chatting with her and other guests over a lovely cooked breakfast. The room was cosy and well equipped.

Es war wunderbar! Das Zimmer geräumig mit Veranda und Blick aufs Meer. Das Frühstück lies keine Wünsche offen. Das Haus eine Pracht mit sehr viel Raum für Gäste. Die Gastgeberin Jeanette super nett, hilfsbereit und freundlich. Ihre Tipps waren gold wert. Einzigartig!
