What a great surprise - totally awesome. We were cycling and a great spot to stay while doing the river trails. Freshly renovated, well appointed with quality fittings and a great atmosphere. Been developed with care and attention to detail. I liked the local photography on the walls too. Stay without hesitation.

Great, renovated well and good kitchen and equipment, even a dishwasher which kept the place clean. Would recommend as place to stay. Showers were fantastic. Only gripe is children not being supervised, that is the parents fault (free range) not the business.

What a beautiful place to stay. Only complaint was we did not stay long enough. Very highly recommended. Extremely clean, wonderful service and lovely location. Nice little extra touches. Would stay again.

Stayed one night as a group of colleagues. We enjoyed our stay, the lodge is well appointed and done to a high standard, spacious, beds were really comfortable, nice bathrooms and kitchens. Recommend it especially if you're looking for a relaxed homely feel with the ability to self cater.

The bed and pillows were the best for a great nights sleep. Loved the personal touch of the basket of goodies. So well set up for mountain bikers on the Waikato river trial ride. Owners so kind and helpful. Soft carpet and warm rooms. Everything thought of for a fantastic stay. Recommend to all.

Warm modern lodge. We were heading to a bike trail, the lodge was well set up with bike wash stations, secure storage and e charging. Super comfy, big living and cooking spaces, great beds and linens. Impressed and highly recommended.

This place is very clean, queen room was spacious. easy parking, quiet location. It has recently been painted, unfortunately it appeared almost sterile, not very homely. Kitchen well stocked, we managed to whipp up a meal for our group of 10. Shared shower did not drain properly, a little concern, given that others were using same facilities, when standing in the water. The manager assured us that this matter was being addressed.

A great place to stay in Mangakino to explore the local area, or as a stop gap on a road trip. This place has had a complete overhaul recently - all the rooms and shared facilities are brand new and sparkling clean. The manager was friendly and helpful and all the other guests were friendly and pleasant. The kitchen (shared) is well stocked with everything you need to prepare dinner or lunches. Give this place a go the next time you're in Mangakino.
