This is a lovely resort situated in Mandrem beach. There are a lots of facilities inside the hotel including many restaurants, swimming pools and a spa/gym centre

It was pleasant stay I extended my stay but due to some reason room cleaning was not done and when they changed my room that room was also not ready and they were not aware again they shifted me to same room I have to wait outside until cleaning

The hotel has a beautiful green tropical area surrounded by palm trees, but with all this, a very big disadvantage of the hotel is that it is not maintained in good condition, the territory is poorly cleaned. Not only are the rooms already very shabby, but they are also poorly cleaned, when checking in, the floor in the room was dirty and not washed, apparently from previous guests, it was uncomfortable to step on it, all the shelves are dusty, there is dirt in the corners of the room, all this spoiled the impression of the hotel, although its territory is very beautiful due to the landscape design and tropical vegetation, just clean it and everything will be fine

We stayed for 6 nights and the location couldn’t get any better. On the doorstep to Mandrem beach which is also a lot quieter than the other beaches. Food wasn’t great and overpriced food/beverages in general (especially alcohol). We went half board and still had to pay for soft drinks for dinner. However we spent our days on mandrem beach and we ordered from a place called mandrem beach shack which was very reasonably priced for food and cheap alcohol. I’d recommend using that restaurant for drinks and food if you don’t go half board/ full board. We found it quite unprofessional as we were shortchanged each time and they kept the extra as tip as they couldn’t give any change. Overall, great location and perfect for the beach.

The location of Riva is excellent. Right on the quietest part of the beach, but still very accessible to beach shacks and restaurants. There are 3 pools on the premises and the spa services are great. Check in and check out was so smooth. I really wish I could rate Riva higher because it’s a beautiful resort with hospitable staff and it has the potential to be very relaxing. However the food was a huge letdown. Goa is known as an amazing culinary experience, and I wish Riva was able to offer food that was upto Goan standards. I ordered a soup at the cafe and it was substandard to say the least. The sambhar and veg gravy the next morning was watered down and then over salted. Fortunately my resourceful family was able to find some amazing food options outside the hotel.
There’s work to do and I will wait to hear of better food reviews before I recommend or visit again.

The hotel was even nicer than the pictures.
The beach was beautiful and there were not many people so I was able to relax even by myself.
I was worried because there were no reviews from Japanese people, but this hotel is truly flawless.
However, the taxi fare from the airport is 2000rp expensive💦
But I definitely recommend it😘

Well located to take surf lessons at "Surf Wala" just 10 minutes walk away and enjoy the beach.
The hotel also has a magnificent area to practice combat sports
