5/28/2023 Oh boy..... Arrived 145pm, told Check in was 3, but for $30 we could get the room early...no thanks. Left & came back, got keys, put stuff in our room & went to the bar/lounge to eat and then back to room. Around 9pm (we were sleeping); knock on door and b4 we could answer- man let himself INTO our room. Said his system didn't show the room occupied. I said Steph who checked us in, gave us our keys - how else would we have gotten into the room. "OK" says and left. Now I can't sleep - called Steph (who wrote her number on our key card envelope at 930pm and left her a voicemail about the incident. About 940pm Steph shows up & knocks on the door. Now I'm getting pretty PO'd. Says she "thought" she had checked us in, but the tablet must not have updated (not my problem). Apologized, stated she would refund my money after I threatened to leave and then she left. Despite "non-smoking room" and threat of $200 find if we were caught, room stunk of smoke. Small little Glade type air freshener by tv was supposed to help I guess??? Room needs carpet shampoo'd and a thorough cleaning. Steph responds to my ********** review on 6/4/23 - states she was 1000% at fault, no reason we should have had this issue. Claims it was a sold-out weekend and she "dropped the ball & didn't switch the rooms in the system." Also says she processed my refund on 6/3/23. Today is 6/19/23 - no refund to my CC and now answer to my phone calls (x3) to her number SHE provided on check-in. Nobody at front desk at 530am, no coffee, neighbors in rooms kept slamming doors, fan on a/c unit wouldn't stay running. Seems more like a rent by week or month-to-month environment.
