Apart from a lot of traffic around the hotel, which seems to be an issue everywhere in Manila, our say was very pleasant. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. Breakfast was great and a lot of different types of fruits, juice, meats local and foreign specialities are available.

I was travelling with my colleagues for business trip. This was my stay with Edsa Shangri-La for over 4 years.
We were pleasantly surprised when we were offered the access to their Horizon Lounge and use one of their meetings for our meeting with our client on complimentary basis.

The room we are in is dated and dark. The bed are hard and very low. TV system is a mess that we had to call maintenance guy every evening to help us switch it on.

Hotel is a little bit old but clean, good location next to a mall and off EDSA highway.
Also the bakery on the ground floor provides good alternative for those not wanting to pay for full breakfast

We had a good stay during the holidays. Toom is very clean and near to the mall.

The room that they gave us was not thoroughly cleaned. We found one piece of old french fry under the desk.
The hair dryer that was installed in the room was faulty. It turns off from time to time if the wire moved.
The breakfast was done in a separate function room due to the overspill of guests in the main restaurant (heat). The ambience was dark n gloomy but the food was great nevertheless.
Will still be back though due to its location and service.

The good: near malls, nice facilities, the best gym, great and prompt service.
The bad: hotel is getting old and may need updates. The first room we got the aircon was not working well. Then the hot water broke down 2x because of too many guests. The pool was also super full during good friday and they were not able to limit guests.
