Everything was perfect.
But it was a matter of big surprise/shock that this holiday inn Express hotel has not got a single USB charging point, not in the room, not in the breakfast area even.
Would suggest to make some small investment like couple of thousand pounds in putting some USB charging points at least in Public Areas. Even busses and taxis are providing them
The kettle in the room was so unique.

My husband and I came to the hotel on Friday 7/10/2022 room 1216 I honestly couldn't say anything negative about this hotel . The moment we walked in Georgia and neelam on reception greeted us warmly and explained everything. Once we settled in we came back to the bar to enjoy the amazing range of cocktails made by Gabriel :) the bar staff were all amazing from the manager phoebe to Pablo and andree they couldn't do more to make you feel welcome . Our room did have a view of the construction but we expected that as we are in the middle of Manchester and it was not a problem at all . The breakfast was beautiful unfortunately I didn't get the gentleman's name who was clearing the tables but he was so nice lastly I would like to give mo from housekeeping a massive shout out our room was spotless and he even gave me a kit kat đ what stands out about this hotel is the staff and I mean all the staff shine they all greet you with smiles and I know how hard that can be for a full shift đ can't wait to come back thank you

Me & my partner stayed at Manchester Victoria for our 1 year anniversary & we had the most memorable experience. We have previously stayed in Roomzzz & have never been let down by their friendly staff & well accommodated roomzzz. On arrival we were met by Elizabete who was really welcoming & bubbly. She had let us know that there was a surprise in our room as it was our anniversary. Our room was beautifully decorated with rose petals and some chocolates which are very grateful to the team for. We stayed for 2 nights & because we enjoyed it so much we went ahead and booked 1 more night over in Chester to complete our stay. Overall the Roomzzz team were kind & welcoming & very thoughtful. Thankyou for making our stay extra special. :)

First of all I want to say the staff are lovely and canât do enough for you. The hotel is in a great location and if youâre out with friends in Manchester and just need somewhere to lay your head for one night then this place will do. But itâs not exactly the ritz Carlton. The carpets in the room were dirty, I wore flip flops inside the room the entire time. The chair in the room was also dirty. There was a hair on one of the cushions on the bed that wasnât mine. But the bathroom was the biggest disappointment. I showered on the night but then left in the morning and opted to go home to wash again. The toilet roll holder was broken so the toilet roll kept dropping on the floor. There were cracks in the wall and floor tiles and in the sink. There was rust on the rail on the side of the bath. It was just very unpleasant on a whole and in desperate need of redecorating. The rooms shouldnât be more than ÂŁ40 a night at best.
We stayed here 1 night after flying into Manchester airport late. The GPS took us to the hotel, but we could not find out how to get into the hotel. So frustrating. There is a taxi rank outside which serves the railway station opposite, and the hotel. No where to pull up and offload luggage. No hotel parking either. At 11:00 pm, after an international flight, this was the last thing we needed. Finally, we learned we had to park in the multi-story parking lot, and drag our luggage across to the hotel. Once we were in the hotel, we were greeted by friendly staff. Our room was lovely, and bed comfortable. Breakfast was good. I have food sensitivity issues, and the manager at breakfast was very helpful in guiding me as to what I could and couldn't eat. Food was good. Nice experience despite initial confusion.

Booked this hotel as there was a train strike the day of my flight. Also it's right next to the airport and slightly cheaper than Radissons inside the airport. However, there were no signs from the train station for the hotel. I ended walking around roundabouts I'm not supposed to be on! Turned out I should have walked inside the airport to get out nearer the hotel. Bit of a queue at check in, but ok otherwise. Room was comfy, with a settee. The coffee cups seem to leak- both of them! Would appear to be the material the cups were made of. Big soft towels were a delight. Separate bottles on the wall for shower gel, shampoo, conditioner. Good shower, options of normal and rain shower in a big shower area. Check out was easy, I didn't pay for breakfast. I did a short run in the morning around the hotel car park! Needs must... Overall, I would recommend it, as long as you know how to walk to the hotel from the airport safely! I would recommend the hotel liaise with the airport about signage. If there were signs and I missed it, then they need to be prominent, including detailed directions on the website.

This is our second stay at this hotel. Check in excellent as always. Special thanks to Chris on reception. Our room was on the ground floor over looking the rear parking area. We had a drink in the bar which was busy but a nice atmosphere. We booked a stay and parking package the whole process was good. Our car was left on-site .As we were flying from terminal 2 we used the mini bus pick up service arranged by the hotel to take us the morning of our flight. No need if your flying from terminal 1 as itâs just a few minutes walk. Thanks for another excellent stay.

Outstanding
GGuest UserPros - Room and facilities in room all top quality andd better than any other aparthotel I'd previously stayed in which I can sometimes find to be cheaply fitted out (this was not) - Great coffee, little treats and real milk in the fridge! And the fact it had a fridge btw to keep my little treats chilled! - Super comfortable bed - The power washer-esque shower nearly knocked me over! - Nice scented toiletries - Ironing board and available without needing to ask reception - Wonderful view across the Manchester skyline - Great location for me, maybe 10-15 minute walk at most in any direction to main areas (Picadilly, Arndale, Deansgate, Spinningfields) with the exception of the Northern Quarter (which I knew) - Room could easily accommodate 3 adults Cons - Downstairs lobby area under refurbishment wasn't the best first impression - Lifts could get busy at different times of day - Touch controls took a little getting used to - Would have been a bit pricey at full price for me as a solo traveller but as it was I got a great deal in advance through a bit of up front research and site searching
GGuest UserWe stayed in Manchester for the weekend and The Midland was in a perfect spot for exploring the city.
Both nights we stayed at the Midland there were wedding parties being hosted there, unfortunately this led to not having the best sleep as there was regularly noise coming from other rooms, but when we called reception they did their best to help.
In the morning the staff were extremely apologetic and went above and beyond to make it up to us and said they usually are able to keep the bigger parties staying in the same area so this does not happen.
Lovely hotel, lovely staff, great location!
GGuest UserWhat a fantastic wee hotel the Brooklyn is! We stayed here on the night of the 19th of June for one night before heading off abroad the next day. Great location and a very quirky little hotel far exceeding expectations and better than some of these corporate giants, loved it! Staff were all exceptional to us, friendly and professional always. Bar staff on that evening get a special mention as they were brilliant. Cocktails were out of this world, as stated by Cocktail Queen herself who I was travelling with. Loved the terrace style seating near the bar, never seen that before! Rooms were awesome, bathroom fantastic and I did have a good chuckle at the fact that you could see into the bathroom from the bedroom through a one-way glass panel, hilarious! Everything smelt so wonderfully clean in the building too and I could not fault this place at all! A wonderful stay and a big thanks to all the staff that were on that evening and the next day, you should all be exceptionally proud of yourselves!
DDeimanteMy room was meant to be with king size bed but we got 2 single beds joined together, the single beds had wheels on them so they kept rolling away from each other. It would also move around when youâd try to get into bed. Beds were super high as well, and when they are on wheels itâs a bit tricky to get into one of them especially if youâre short and overweight. Tv was not working, super old so had no smart hub, so no Netflix or any other platforms, you canât even stream your screen view from your phone. Antenna had no reception so you couldnât even watch any regular tv programs.
Other than that, shower was great and clean, everything else in the room was also clean and the room was pretty spacious which I really liked. Location is great, you have an access to a gym.
GGuest UserGreat airport hotel. The room was clean and nice. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The included breakfast was good. The hotel isnât really within walking distance of the airport, an Uber is ÂŁ10 but the hotel is much cheaper in comparison to the Radisson inside the airport.
GGuest UserWe arrived earlier than checking due to having spa treatments booked as we were celebrating our 10th anniversary and left our bags at the reception. 3pm we got to our room and got ready to go out for evening. We left the hotel at 5pm and informed reception the thermostat was showing a fault code and we couldn't increase the temperature. Reception said Maintance would sort it. 7 hours later we returned to a room we couldn't increase the temperature to as no one had fixed it. It's a clean nice hotel and great location for concerts but for the price we paid I wouldn't be staying here again.
RRosemary DruryWe were very pleased to get to the hotel.
Unfortunately, there was only one man on the reception desk and he was booking about 10 people in.
So one long wait but one poor man only on reception!
He apologised and gave us a lovely room with window.
Very happy.
I have stayed here many times and have always been happy.
Thankyou.
TTomoko M 0926Location, location and location! The location of the hotel is excellent â just a 30-second walk from Piccadilly Gardens, which is an easy walking distance from Piccadilly Station as well as Victori Station. The hotel is situated just in the CENTRE of the centre of Manchester.
The interior of the hotelâs public areas is also very gorgeous, and a twin room I stayed was spacious and comfortable. However, the building itself seems quite old and the windows are not double-glazed. Therefore, I tend to think that it would be rather cold in the room in winter.
It would be ideal if the breakfast started at 7:00am, instead of 7:30am on weekdays. I actually had to give up full English breakfast, unfortunately, because I had to catch a train just after 8:00am. For guests who stay in the hotel on a business trip, having breakfast at 7:00am would be nice, as it gives them plenty of time in the morning before going to work.
GGuest UserSpent one night here as I was travelling to a match in Old Trafford. The stadium is only 10 minute walk away. I requested a quiet room as I had my young son with me. I must say that they certainly did accommodate me. The room was clean and very small. The bed was very comfortable. One tip, if you want to charge your phone and use it while lying in bed, bring an extra long phone charger cable, as the only socket in the room is under the TV, which is in the corner of the room Its a maybe, that I will stay again. I got it for a great price. Overall, happy with stay. It is the basic of basic hotels! Heard from other that the tram can be loud, but I never heard it. Gregs shop next door in petrol station was handy.
RRachelIt was a really comfortable bed, and clean sheets and good pillows. The bathroom was clean, garden and outside untidy. Friendly staff though not sure where to go for help, no reception desk
