Well located hotel for my business trip and good facilities.
Lovely large room, comfortable and quiet. Good for short stay.
Just small bits of feedback...I was given a disabled room and thought the emergency pull was located too close to the toilet roll holder but loved having a large wet room style shower room.
I found the sheets a tad hard and duvets too hot for me so a blanket would have been handy.
I'd stay again and recommend it as overall ticked a lot of boxes.

This was such a nice hotel! Highly recommend. We booked for two nights and because the first night had some pipe issues, we had to switch rooms in between the two nights. We did get complimentary breakfasts for the two days though, so that made up for it.
Both rooms were super nice and clean, the hotel has been around for years and you can totally feel and experience the history! But they kept it up-to-date so theres a modern side to it too (such as the washrooms are all newly renovated).
Would really recommend the breakfast as well because not only is the food great, the overall restaurant and bar area is gorgeous. This is also a pet friendly hotel so we got to enjoy seeing some furry friends too!

Room is very clean with complete amneties. Very good location, just walking distance to nearby attractions, mall and tram stations as well. Wifi is good, bed and room is comfortable with kitchen and microwave. Great view, I've got the one looking at the Manchester Cathedral, absolutely love it.
Just something to take note is that some rooms requires a small flight of stairs, so need to carry the luggage up/down. Something to note if you're with heavy luggages. But I managed anyway.

I recently stayed at the Britannia Hotel in Manchester and wanted to share my thoughts.
Location:
The location is definitely one of the hotel’s strongest points. It’s super accessible to all forms of transport, whether you’re arriving by train, bus, or tram. It’s right in the city center, so you can easily explore Manchester without much hassle.
Parking:
The parking arrangement is convenient if you’re driving, especially with free parking between 8 pm and 8 am. Outside of those hours, you’ll need to pay, so keep that in mind if you’re staying for longer stretches.
Hotel Condition:
This is where the hotel shows its age. The building is very old, and while it has some charm, it could definitely use an upgrade. You can feel the wear and tear in the common areas and some of the rooms.
Rooms:
The rooms are a mixed bag. The basic rooms are just that—basic. They’re not particularly comfortable, and if you’re picky about where you sleep, you might feel underwhelmed. However, if you go for one of the upgraded rooms, the experience is much better. Those rooms feel cleaner and more inviting.
Breakfast:
Breakfast is a solid deal at just £9. It’s not a luxury spread, but it gets the job done. You’ll find the usual options for a budget-friendly hotel breakfast.
Staff:
The staff are a highlight of the hotel. They’re very kind and helpful, making you feel welcome from check-in to check-out.
Value for Money:
Overall, this is a budget-friendly hotel, so you do get what you pay for. If you’re looking for a no-frills place to stay in a central location and don’t mind the dated vibe, it works. However, if comfort and modern amenities are a priority, you might want to explore other

Our stay at this hotel was lovely. The people at the front desk were friendly and warm and really helpful. The lady at the bar was also lovely and friendly.Every staff that we encountered at this hotel was lovely.
The hotel has beautiful ambience and modern decor. The location of this hotel is super convenient as it’s very close to the city Center which by walking is about 6minutes.It is also close to the Manchester Picadilly train/tram station. The hotels location is also convenient to restaurants and a nice place called Spinningfield which is a 20 minute walk.
We would stay again😊😊🙂

Really happy with decision to stay with Wilde. Mostly impressed with the room, which, was spacious & represented great value for money. Snacks/drinks...etc priced quite high, but, understandably so. That said, given the amenities offered in the room, self-catering is the primary option, with purchasing hotel snacks/drinks, viewed as a distant secondary option. Would happily stay with Wilde again

Wow!!! We stayed in a first class king room and it was brilliant. The room was so clean and crisp and the toiletries in the bathroom were plentiful. We ordered a bottle of Prosecco for our room and it was cold and delicious. Our breakfast was delicious with almost everything available (no dairy free margarine (flora or similar) for on toast. We did have a slight problem with a dog in the room next door but we were given another first class king room within 10 minutes and it was exactly the same as our original. We were treated with such amazing service by any staff member we spoke to and would not hesitate to stay here again on any other trip to Manchester. The hotel was central to the trains stations we were travelling to and from and perfect walking distance to the AO Arena for a performance we had booked. We cannot fault anything with this stay and left feeling so refreshed despite not visiting the gym.

A great hotel in the city centre and 50yds from Bridgewater Hall so ideal for any concerts. 60yds from the Conference Centre. A short 10min walk to Albert Square and the many shops, cafes and centre.
Nice room/beds/bathroom - no issues
Breakfast - well stocked buffet style, with coffee/tea/juice and pastries/Danish and continental style also.
TBH - stayed here a few times when it was a Jury’s Inn but now Leonardo’s - no issues.

Hotel is excellent room and views are lovely. Location is excellent and majority of staff were nice. Only a few issues they give and charge you for doubles in the bar when the menu only gives single prices. The response from the barmaid was you never specified a single when that should be as standard. Also take 50 pound a night for cover in case you spend in the hotel but only refunded 97.60 for the 2 nights. Although we didn’t spend anything on the room. The hotel is super but just those 2 things took the shine of a really great stay.

KkukExcellent location with friendly staff and welcome drinks. The atmosphere is superb for young travellers with DJ and music at the lobby.
I wasn’t sure where the check in area was as it was actually at the bar area. 😅 overall good to stay here for a short visit in Manchester.

GGuest UserWe stayed in Manchester for the weekend and The Midland was in a perfect spot for exploring the city.
Both nights we stayed at the Midland there were wedding parties being hosted there, unfortunately this led to not having the best sleep as there was regularly noise coming from other rooms, but when we called reception they did their best to help.
In the morning the staff were extremely apologetic and went above and beyond to make it up to us and said they usually are able to keep the bigger parties staying in the same area so this does not happen.
Lovely hotel, lovely staff, great location!

TTom___I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Brooklyn in Manchester and I'm thrilled to share my experience. This hotel not only met but exceeded my expectations, making my visit truly memorable.
From the moment I stepped into the hotel, we were greeted by warm and professional staff. The service here is top-notch. Every member of the staff was attentive, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They exemplify the essence of great hospitality.
A small yet impactful moment came when we realised we had forgotten our toothpaste. Without hesitation, we called room service, and to our pleasant surprise, before we even got back to our room, the toothpaste was there waiting for us. It's these small details and quick responses that set Hotel Brooklyn apart.
The breakfast at Hotel Brooklyn deserves a special mention. It was nothing short of fantastic. The variety and quality of food offered were impressive. From fresh pastries and cereals to a range of hot food, every item was delicious and well-prepared. It's a perfect start to the day, catering to all tastes and dietary needs.
Our room was a blend of comfort and style. It was well-appointed, clean, and spacious with a cozy and inviting ambiance. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day exploring Manchester.
Hotel Brooklyn in Manchester is a gem. The combination of exceptional service, excellent food, and comfortable accommodations makes it a top choice. I left feeling completely satisfied and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Manchester. It's a place where every detail is taken care of, leaving guests with a sense of luxury and relaxation.
In conclusion, my stay at Hotel Brooklyn was nothing short of perfect. It's a hotel that truly understands the needs of its guests and delivers on every front. I am already looking forward to my next visit and would recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality stay in Manchester.

AayanamisloverThe location of the hotel was good. However, there were a few problems, the bathroom was very large but the sink was very small and the water splashed out easily when gargling, so I don't quite understand why it wasn't made larger. The shampoo and shower gel couldn't be squeezed out and contacting reception a few times didn't solve the problem. There is also a party downstairs, the sound insulation is not good, you can hear the party sound and can not open the window, resulting in the room always feel very stuffy.

GGuest UserLiving in the first floor, the interior decoration is very unsuitable for the Chinese. The bed shelves are carved up and down, left and right, and the characters on the side of the bed. There is also a large mirror on the side of the bed. The left and right sides of the hotel are all bars and restaurants. It will not stop before 3am, especially the sound of drumming, although the sound is not loud, but the rhythm is similar to the heartbeat, which seriously affects the rest. Fortunately, the front desk service attitude is still very good, but also presented early, otherwise the shadow area is bigger.

Very Good
GGuest UserAdvantages: Good location in the city center, convenient food and transportation, 300 meters away from Picadilly train station, the room and bathroom are large enough, there are capsule coffee, bottled water, small water bar, small refrigerator (powered but not very cold), hair dryer, makeup mirror, shower gel, shampoo, hand soap, large soap (larger than other places), and female hygiene products are also prepared, there is no separate conditioner, disposable slippers are in the bathrobe pocket, and the European area brings its own toothbrush and toothpaste. I have a street-facing room, but it is not noisy.
Disadvantages: According to our ordinary East Asian standards, the hygiene is not good, and the room has a smell. The supplies after daily cleaning are sometimes replenished and sometimes not. It seems that it all depends on whether the housekeeper remembers it, but if you ask for it, they are very friendly.
Overall, it is not a pitfall
