Travelodge Manchester Ancoats Hotel

Northern Quarter
Facilities are average, other aspects are good, sanitation is good. The location is easy to find, and a ten-minute walk to Piccadilly Railway Station is convenient. It's very good to have this price on game day.
Church Street by Supercity Aparthotels

Judging from the other reviews it seams like this is a hotel of two halves. The nice half, and the not-so-nice half. Unfortunately I paid £120 to stay in the not-so-nice half for one night - the 'Studio Suite' (sounds nice doesn't it? - it's not so great). The room looked nothing like the pics in my opinion (see attached) which gives a luxury vibe. In reality, its a basic, budget room sitting on the 1st floor, so street noise and no aircon meant the windows were closed and the room was hot. To be fair, it was clean enough, and the hotel manager and receptionist did their best to help but, as the hotel was full, I couldn't move rooms. Given the price and the expectations from the pictures/ website I was really disappointed with the reality (See pics attached to this review).

Me and my husband stayed with our two young children as we were going to a concert at yhe AO arena. Its the perfect distance from the arena. The beds are very comfortable and we all had a good nights sleep. Our room was spotlessly clean. We cannot fault the hotel atall and will certainly stay again in future
Holiday Inn Express Manchester City Centre Arena, an IHG Hotel

We stayed at the Holiday Inn for one night to go to a show at the nearby arena and couldn’t fault it for our needs. There is no parking on site but reasonably priced parking a 2 minute walk away, plus the hotel is less than a 10 minute walk to the arena and close to all the shops and bars of the northern quarter. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, we arrived an hour before check in but were given our room straight away. I’d requested a high floor and we were given a room on the top floor, which was clean and a decent size with a huge shower! The room was also quiet and breakfast was decent, with vegetarian sausages provided on request. For a short stay we couldn’t fault it for the price.

Staying for two nights in a room without a window for me is perfectly fine The sheets were clean. The bathroom was clean and they was a hair dryer. What was quite decent and worked for my curly hair, and we had tea and coffee in the room. Would stay again definitely for a long weekend cuz it's cheap and it's in central
Abel Heywood Boutique Hotel

Spent two nights here B and B as we were in Manchester to see Peter Kay. Room was small but clean , well equipped and comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety and was well cooked. Staff were polite and friendly. It was very expensive due to the concert however everywhere else would have been. Surrounding alleys were a bit unsavoury when we arrived late but in the day were fine. All in all a good stay.
