I've stayed at this particular hotel previously (almost exactly a year ago) and my experience this time around is not as good. Firstly, the good things are the location and the rooms are very modern, new and have everything you would need. Now for the negatives. When I checked in I was surprised that I was given a twin room, although I believed I had booked a double. It turns out in small print there was something that said I might be given a twin - but this is more the fault of trip.com so I will not mark this hotel down because of it. The hotel was fully booked so they unfortunately couldn't move me into a double room. However, they were not proactive at all at trying to come up with a solution - they didn't suggest moving me to another room on another day, and they did not suggest that they could push the twin beds together to create a double - I only discovered this after a couple of days later when I pushed the beds together and then housekeeping was happy to dress the beds as a double.
Cleanliness was generally pretty good, and while I don't expect perfection, there were a couple of areas that needed work. The space under the bathroom counter was very dusty and I came across two dusty old fries next to the bed.
Part way through my stay, the LED lights in the kitchenette started having issues. Housekeeping said they would report this and someone would come to fix it. Nobody ever came to fix it.
On one of the busy mornings, one of the lifts stopped working. The staff didn't inform any guests and so a lot of time was wasted and guests eventually figured out they had to use the stairs.
