Nice hotel but the aircon wasn’t working on floors 2-5. We were there on a day with highest temperature of 30. Fortunately we managed to open the windows. Wasn’t a very pleasant experience

Great location. Clean room and lovely staff. I like the decor too. However my room was next to the lifts and I was woken a number of times in the night by guests coming in late/ leaving early and another guests iphone alarm going off as the soundproofing is not good so would not stay here again as I need sleep more than anything.

This is my second time staying in this hotel. This time I stayed in a king-size bed room. The room is very retro and romantic, and the bed is very large and soft. However, the room faces the street, and the noise from the road will disturb you in the morning. The upstairs was being renovated on the first morning, so I was woken up early. But it is worth praising that the room is equipped with Marshall speakers, and it is really comfortable to lie on the bed and listen to music.

A great hotel, old and beautiful, with modern and comfortable facilities and courteous staff. A very good experience.

This is a really nice and clean hotel. Staff are friendly. I arrived before check-in time, but luckily the room was ready so I was able to check in early. The shower water pressure is very strong. It's the first time I've been to a hotel with slippers while traveling in the UK. very good.

The service is considerate, the interior is relatively old, and it's okay for business and office travel

The hotel in the building in 1848, once you enter the hotel, you can feel the rich history and culture. The interior decoration is very modern, and the hotel is very cost-effective. highly recommended!

Nice hotel not far from piccadilly station and with parking round the corner from the hotel for a fee. Room was nice and clean it was just noisy as we were right in the centre lots of sirens late at night. Breakfast was nice lots of options. My son had a put up bed which was fine for him. No fridge in the room but otherwise good. Would probably stay in a slightly nicer area in future.

I really like the decor of this hotel. I thought the room was lovely and spacious and even had an iron and ironing board for me to use on my suit without needing to ask at reception. Great shower with both overhead and handheld option. Biggest bed I’ve ever stayed in! Staff were very friendly and accommodating

Check in was quick and good, lift was really slow between floors. On entering the room it was like a sauna and the AC did not work. It must be an ongoing issue as a portal cooler was in room and managed to cool it down after a few hours. Not really the full experience for the money paid for the room.

Great location and easy to access transport links and shops. Rooms are big with new bathrooms. Slightly annoying that they don’t have a separate shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Instead you only have a hair+body all in one. I forgot how noisy the rooms can be with noisy traffic in the evening and early morning. And creaky wooden floors, so you hear when upstairs or room next door walks around. Most hotels now offer the ability to stream on tv, or at least cast from your phone etc. abode only has tv channels on an old tv. Breakfast was good, though moved it upstairs and no fruit and buffet option. Overall an ok stay, but you’d find a better sleep elsewhere.

We liked the walking distance to bus, tram and train stations as well as being directly in the city centre. The staff was friendly and the room was nice and clean. We loved the extra pillows!

Really great location. Well appointed room. Comfortable bed. Would definitely recommend and stay here again
