One of my favourite hotels to stay in Manchester. Yes, it’s a bit pricey but the hotel provide complete facilities & amenities, breakfast included, and it’s within the city centre. The staff were very helpful & friendly too. I would definitely choose the same hotel when I’m planning to stay in Manchester.

The front desk staff when we first arrived was rude to us and wanted to charge us 20 pounds for an earlier checkin that had been already requested. Then the other staff was sweet and helpful, so that was much better.
The AC in the room wasn't working, they didn't have maintenance staff in the evening, so they gave us a fan, which helped but not much, the room was still very hot.
Then, 3am on the last night, the hotel's fire alarm rung, everybody evacuated, but thankfully it was a false alarm.
Lastly, the cleaningness of the bathroom was really poor, could see mould and stains everywhere. The bed was too small for a couple, and there were no electric plugs by the bed.
Probably would stay somewhere else next time in town.

Excellent room quality! The best were extraordinary. The room was very big with enough room for the both of us. The check-in was easy and the staff were very well-mannered. We did have a small incident of being locked out of the room but they sorted it within minutes. The restroom was great with a large shower and an easy-to-use shower.

Was a solo traveler, yet given an accessible room (for wheelchair users) means there is no sofa and a huge empty space in the room.
And there are only shower curtains in the toilet instead of glass doors, means bathing would cause some puddle of water in areas of the toilet which can be dangerous as no slippers were provided. The flush was SUPER loud, could feel vibrations on the floor.
Housekeeping forgot to lock my door as well. I went back at night with the door lock out and ajar, thankfully nothing was stolen. Got to be very careful on this.
Breakfast however was really good despite repeated menu. Very friendly reception and food hall staff as well. I like how hygienic it is to spray the tables with disinfectant for cleaning before the next guest uses it.
