Had a lovely stay here for 3 nights. Prior to staying I saw lots of reviews about the construction work, however I experienced no disruption to my stay due to this. Nathan served us at reception and the bar, making us feel extremely welcome and put a positive feel on our stay from the start. I'm 99% sure he also made our food. Ordered 2 Pizzas and can honestly say they were some of the best I've ever had. Would definitely recommend staying here if in the Manchester area, and order their Pizzas!

Came down to watch the football in Manchester and this hotel was well located and good priced. It hotel was hard to find because it has constructions going on. Inside the hotel however is very clean and very modern. It has a small restaurant on site with bar open until 4am. Very friendly and attentive team. The bedroom was a good size for 2 people, we had 2 single beds and en suite shower room. Breakfast was tasty and well cooked.

When arriving at the hotel for check in at 14:53, we were told to come back at 15:00 as we’re not allowed to check in before then. This was only 7minutes and the response felt rude - “Check in isn’t until 3pm, I know it’s only a few minutes but you can get a drink in the bar/cafe and come back at 3pm”. What, in 7 minutes? When I returned 14:59, I was in a queue of others checking in and waited 15 minutes in line before being seen. Unacceptable customer service. There was also no one at reception on arrival and I had to shout through to the office for assistance. There was work at the hotel with scaffolding up and workmen outside. This made it very noisy and our room was the side of the work being done. Our window was taped over with blue cling film stuff from the work so we couldn’t open the window properly or have natural light. It felt like a prison cell. Only upside was the hotel was so cheap so we just ****** it up for the 1 night but wasn’t impressed.

Rooms tiny as is bathroom and we are not big people. One plug socket and no hairdryer. two USB at side of bed but only a small cut out in headboard as a shelf. These rooms are tiny and very basic

Turned up? Waited 30mins while receptionist scrolled her phone in the back office. Had to ring the office phone three times before she realised it was me and got off her bum. She gave me a key with barely any words, I then got up to room, kettle didn’t work, taps running BROWN water, bedding was dirty covered in hairs and an empty coffee wrapper in the floor. I paid for wifi which stopped working after half an hour. Wanted to complain and ask for my money back the next morning and receptionist was missing and I was late for my train so just left it but hopefullly I can stop someone else making the same mistake of paying for this crap.

My stay at this hotel was absolutely perfect. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the lovely staff, who went above and beyond to accommodate my every need. The breakfast was delightful, and the customer service was truly exceptional—10/10 in every way. A special mention goes to Honey and Noora, whose friendliness and attentiveness truly stood out. They went the extra mile to ensure my stay was as enjoyable and memorable as possible.
