I recently stayed at the Britannia Hotel in Manchester and wanted to share my thoughts. Location: The location is definitely one of the hotel’s strongest points. It’s super accessible to all forms of transport, whether you’re arriving by train, bus, or tram. It’s right in the city center, so you can easily explore Manchester without much hassle. Parking: The parking arrangement is convenient if you’re driving, especially with free parking between 8 pm and 8 am. Outside of those hours, you’ll need to pay, so keep that in mind if you’re staying for longer stretches. Hotel Condition: This is where the hotel shows its age. The building is very old, and while it has some charm, it could definitely use an upgrade. You can feel the wear and tear in the common areas and some of the rooms. Rooms: The rooms are a mixed bag. The basic rooms are just that—basic. They’re not particularly comfortable, and if you’re picky about where you sleep, you might feel underwhelmed. However, if you go for one of the upgraded rooms, the experience is much better. Those rooms feel cleaner and more inviting. Breakfast: Breakfast is a solid deal at just £9. It’s not a luxury spread, but it gets the job done. You’ll find the usual options for a budget-friendly hotel breakfast. Staff: The staff are a highlight of the hotel. They’re very kind and helpful, making you feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Value for Money: Overall, this is a budget-friendly hotel, so you do get what you pay for. Nice hotel in great location for Piccadilly and local amenities. Room was small but clean. Bed very comfortable. Staff pleasant.

Only stayed here for a short trip with access to Piccadilly gardens. Great location to get around Manchester. Basic hotel room, had kettle and hairdryer in room. No iron in room, but you could use the iron on the 6th floor Didn’t use the onsite restaurant & bar etc due to other commitments

Room was well-designed, clean with modern branded appliances such as a Nespresso machine, Smeg washing machine-dryer, fridge-freezer. Lotsa storage space and spacious bathroom with rain shower. Quiet at night as well for a busy hotel in a popular area. The pool was lovely and hot tub was squeaky clean. Breakfast was table-service but you can pick anything from the menu and I highly recommend the eggs royale! Will defo stay here again when I’m back!

Loved the experience went for our anniversary took my 8month year old daughter aswel the service was really good and the hotel its self was amazing the spa and swimming was good ! Overall would defo be coming back soon! Worth it all day long!

Great budget hotel, within walking distance of central Manchester. I’ve stayed here several times and always had a comfortable quiet night’s sleep. The new parking charges is actually useful as it’s considerably cheaper than putting a car into one of the usual car parks on checkout and as it covers you for 24 hours, you can check out and stay parked at the hotel.

Pros:Clean, stylish interior, excellent customer service, smellis good in all areas, shops nearby, big rooms for UK standard. Con: Not much options for buffet breakfast. Highly recommend !

Excellent views from the bar also level 3 is used for breakfast and meals lunch and evening meals lovely meals towards .manchester , The check in staff were polite , professional and the room was quite old fashioned for the price and for a 4 star , The hotel issued me with a comp check out as booked through *********** from 11am till 12pm and 2 half price drinks at the bar Booked the night before with trip.com which was the cheapest option online cheaper than the hotel direct , Hotel close to train station and tram station , was working going on outside room at 8am to earn trying to rest

Nice clean room and modern clean shower room. The hotel is in a good location and within easy reach of the city centre. Quite a good buffet breakfast but the restaurant area is quite small and gets very busy so best to avoid peak time.
