Maryann and Jack make everyone feel at home at this gorgeous historic inn. Attention to detail is evident everywhere, but nothing ever feels off limits. Books, artwork, antiques and houseplants make everyone feel at home. A couple was enjoying a game of Scrabble as we returned from dinner one evening. Breakfasts are delicious and varied. The inn’s location close to both Hildene and The Equinox Skyline Drive make it a perfect spot for enjoying all the nearby amenities. We will definitely return.

From the moment we walked in the door, until the we checked our our experience was wonderful. We initially booked for 3 days but loved it so much we stayed 2 additional days. The room was beautifully appointed and had a private porch. Even though it was April, the weather was surprisingly warm, so we were able to enjoy sitting outside looking at the beautiful view. The breakfast was a real treat. Jack and Maryann are wonderful hosts. We enjoyed our time there so much that we booked another stay before we left.

We had a wonderful mini-getaway at this beautiful inn.The inn has lots of nooks and crannies, be sure to explore. Our room, Anne Eliza, was charming and cozy. We loved the double sided fireplace (bedroom and bathroom). Attention to detail was there! Homemade chocolate chip cookies were left in our room each day. Coffee/tea /hot chocolate were available 24/7. Breakfasts were bountiful and delicious. We loved the variety of books to browse all throughout the inn! Maryann and Jack are gracious hosts and available to help with plans and recommendations.

We had an amazing experience at the Inn at Ormsby Hill and can’t recommend it enough! My wife and I booked the petite wedding package for our small family wedding, and everything was perfect. The Inn is beautiful and full of historic charm, with cozy sitting rooms, unique guest rooms, and a gorgeous back patio where we had our ceremony. Breakfast each morning was homemade and delicious. Maryann and Jack were wonderful hosts, and Candi and her sisters made us and our family feel so welcome. Thank you to everyone at Ormsby Hill for making our wedding weekend so special—we can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I stayed just one night at the inn on our way home to Ohio from Camden ME. We wanted to see the Robert Lincoln home (HIldene). The inn is absolutely lovely. We were welcomed (with cookies) as if we were staying a while, and I wish we could have been there longer. The room was great...spotless and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend!
