A resort hotel on the Pacific Ocean, with ocean view rooms, a great environment, and a comfortable hot spring! Perfect for a family vacation! The service is also excellent, and any problems are solved immediately!

This was my first time staying here. It was a corner room with lots of windows, so it was great to be able to enjoy both the ocean and the forest. The service was minimal, but the staff were cheerful and it was fine if you were just staying overnight. I'd like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

The room is old, but the hygiene is good and the scenery is beautiful! The hotel is on a steep hill. Since there is no meal provided, there is no convenience store around to buy food. Fortunately, the manager (a Chinese fellow) helped to call a car. I was really lucky. The driver was also Chinese and helped to take me around, eat, and shop. It provided convenience. Thank you compatriots who work hard in a foreign country, come on! 💪💪💪

There was no air conditioning working when we went in. Corridor didn’t have air ventilation either and room was very hot when we entered.

Good value I stayed here in the off-season (just before summer) and did not bring a car. Overall a good value. Such a beautiful view from my room - and wonderful breakfast in the morning. Just a few drawbacks though. First, the public bath had a lot of dead bugs, and the room did not have its own shower. Not a big issue though. Second, when I checked in, the woman at the front did not speak Japanese or English, so there was some confusion at first. I imagine there could be some issues during peak times unless they have a Japanese speaker at the front. Otherwise, the service was great. Anyway, even if I didn't bring a car, this was so much nicer than staying in a bigger hotel in Atami. Definitely walkable (though not close) from the station, beach, and other things. Overall, a relaxing and pleasant stay worth what I spent.

We--two couples--booked our trip to Japan in December 2022 very late. So our options were limited. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. There were 3 downsides. First, there was no attached bath. There is a sink outside the WC so you can brush your teeth in your room. But we ended up taking our showers as couples. It used to be called a ryokan but then changed its name without changing its facilities. (And no, we did not use the pool/spa as one of us found a p**ic hair floating.) Second, the hotel was difficult to locate. It's on a hill with narrow alleys leading up to it. We stayed two nights. So we needed to get our car there only twice. The first, we were very close and had to get the help of a fish-shop customer/staff to lead us there. Much thanks. The second time, we still had to drive around a little. Keep in mind that this is December and as tourists we were returning at 8 pm. The breakfast (optional) was very good. Highly recommended. The third downside is that the hotel rate you see is PER PERSON. This hotel ended up being the most expensive of our entire 10-day trip. The upsides: the male staffer/manager was very helpful. The view is indeed what you see. It's calming indeed. The hotel itself is a little tattered with the wall paper peeling off slightly in my room. The light above the sink worked, did not work, worked. Overall, I would not recommend this to my friend. The lack of an attached bath is a deal breaker.
