Terrible experience in So called 5 star hotel . In uk even 3 star hotels are better than this . Rooms condition is worst . Broken shower glasses , hygiene level 1, staff can't speak or understand a single word of English . Same food almost every day . Only 1 or 2 dishes new otherwise its the same menu almost everyday . Even salad looks like either from lunch or from last night dinner . Plz do not use the guides that come in the hotel to help you , they are absolute Rip off . OVERALL .......TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY

Just arrived and been insulted by one of the reception staff 🥲 Completely rude and aggressive and not interested in sorting an issue Hotel seems nice let’s hope the aggression calms down 🫣

Great holiday. everything was good here. animation team really good. they are so kind friendly and helpful. we comfy here. day time activities and night times shows good too. restaurant is good food. rooms is clean. thank you Port River 2025

Good things about hotel: Drink stocked in minibar every day Location good. Hotel decor good and rooms modern. WiFi good in most areas of hotel. Plenty of sunbeds. Music stops at 11pm so can sleep. Bad things about hotel: Uncomfortable beds. Paper thin walls. Not very clean even though serviced every day, basic. Aircon not great. Reception unhelpful. No variety on food. Drinks poor. Toilets unhygienic and soap and broken things not fixed. Safe in our room didn’t always work. Overall wouldn’t return and if you can find alternative I would.

Hotel it self I wouldn’t say was a 5 star, I would say should be a 4! Overall hotel was clean rooms cleaned daily, clean towels mini bar stocked up! Beds are pretty uncomfortable but still managed to sleep ok. Swimming pool is very clean and staff are constantly walking around cleaning up, was never an issue getting a sunbed as there is enough for everyone! We stayed for a week and enjoyed our holiday the only thing that lets this hotel down is the food, everyday is the same stuff and doesn’t look or taste very nice, we basically just lived off the snack bar food that was pizza, chips, burgers etc! All the drinks was good! We had our pictures taken by the hotel professional photographer they was very good, and also the bloke from the spa his name is tiger he was very helpful. I wouldn’t come back to this hotel just for the reason of the food letting it down but other than that we had a great holiday!

Firstly I would like to say that the hotel its self is lovely, most staff are friendly. But we witnessed an incident with the loviest guy called Tiger and the guys that provides pictures with a parrot. Tiger is an absolute gentleman and will go above and beyond for you to make you feel comfortable and at home. As he was talking to me and my family, the parrot guy came over and started an argument and attacked him pulling out a butter knife in front of other families. This is very unfortunate as Tiger brings a welcoming and nice energy. He was even nice enough to take my partner to the pharmacy on his own bike to help him with his ear aches and my dad’s mosquito bites at no extra chargers, just out of the goodness of his heart

Just arrived home after a 10 day stay, two adults , one 14 year old …. Staff are fantastic, so I cannot understand the reviews regarding the staff (reception and pool bar especially) nothing is too much trouble , we had a few room issues that were fixed immediately at 4 am when we arrived ! Rooms are basic, clean enough , towels changed daily - bed is very uncomfortable and a bit dated Pool exceptionally clean, constant flow of staff ensuring nothing is left laying around . No fight for sunbeds which is a plus Food let’s the place down - it’s awful in the restaurant, snack bar is good - was a huge let down but we didn’t starve. Entertainment and animation team are no good, however the music up in the bar from 10-11pm is good in the evening Beach - 5 min walk, tired and run down, no restaurants or bars , only ones tied to hotel which are not great but again, no one starved . Beach is a bit unsanitary but still ok All in all a great holiday , would I return, no- but that’s not to say we didn’t have a good time
