Excellent services and everything was great

Me and my husband had such a fantastic time visiting the Arcanus Hotel. The hotel has everything you need. Beautiful restaurants, bars, shops and beautiful beach bars There was a wide variety of food drinks and delicious cakes. A special mention to the Head chef who works in the restaurant. He was so attentive and made us feel very welcome from the day we arrived. Big thanks to the bar staff who work at the main bar. Very friendly and welcoming especially the barmans who worked at the bar on the first floor with a beautiful balcony view. Big thank you to the manager Halil who is very pleasant and friendly always welcoming with a smile and chat. We are definitely looking to return next year. Can't wait to return in the future.

We were greeted on arrival We were greeted on arrival, check in was very quick and we were taken to our room, the luggage followed. A very pleasant room with pool view and the sea. The room was spotless nice bathroom with walk in shower, toiletries available, personally I prefer my own. Plenty of coat hangers and drawer space, our bed was very comfortable, pillows not bad although they got hot. Tea coffee facilities a small filled fridge with water beer orange drink which was filled daily, also a large bottle of water. Air conditioning in the room but we didn’t use it, we left our balcony door slightly open at night, no mosquitoes. Small table and chairs and an ash tray to use if you smoke. There was a small line for your swimming gear. The room was cleaned daily, towels changed regularly and bedding changed every other day. Buffet breakfast, something for everyone, you couldn’t possibly go hungry, lunch more than enough choice, and the evening buffet once again you wouldn’t go hungry, when we were there from 5th November-15th November all was pretty calm I’d imagine it would be heaving throughout the summer months and extremely hot! Also lots of children. Entertainment in the evening if you want it, otherwise plenty of bars. Lots of sun loungers whilst we were there. Cafe next to the beach. Towels free. Outdoor pool was exceptionally clean but freezing cold . Indoor pool heated okay for fit people. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to use as there was no easy way for me to enter the pool, very close parallel steps (I’m slightly disabled and wasn’t able to get in or out of the poo!) They do have a mobile hoist but no one knew how to use it properly hence it was dangerous, this needs to be addressed asap otherwise an accident could occur, I might add I was very sad that I wasn’t able to swim as I was so looking forward to it. The reception staff very helpful and friendly, nothing was to much trouble. Oscar was an excellent front of house and he booked the A La Carte restaurants, we had the Mexican but our favourite was the Italian restaurant, it was fabulous, beautiful decor and the food was great. Now the backbone of keeping the hotel and gardens tidy and spotlessly clean were the cleaners gardeners and the room cleaners they deserve to be well rewarded, everyone connected to the hotel were amazing. Beautiful hotel and facilities with stunning sea views from most vantage parts of hotel. Booked A La Carte several nights, great food and service and extremely good value. Staff are all lovely, made to feel very welcome. Specially thanks to Jacqueline on Reception who helped with all my queries. Woukd definitely recommend and return.

We have just returned from a week at the hotel. Overall, this is a lovely hotel and we did have a great time. However, there were things that let our stay down. I echo the review left by 'Rebecca D' regarding service. We did not experience the fantastic service that has been commented on in previous reviews. Maybe it is at the end of a long hard season and enthusiasm is at a low, but I experienced being ignored on 2 occasions and even abrubtness bordering on rudeness when requesting a drink on multiple occasions by 1 member of staff. Although all staff are run off their feet and clearly work extremely hard, we just didn't get a warm feeling in general, also echoed by other families we spoke to. This was disappointing as the previous comments on great service did influence our booking decision. The other main disappointment was the sheer amount of plastic this hotel uses! Plastic straws, cotton buds, water bottles, the list goes on. It actually made us uncomfortable! The other negative was with the bathroom in our room with the grouting, and in particular, the mould around 'the window' in the shower. Extremely poor for a "5 star" hotel. However, despite this overall, it is a lovely hotel. My 5 year old loved it, so great for families. There are lots of positives about the hotel but it certainly wasn't 5 star. There is a good atmosphere, albeit the pools were freezing! The landscaping is beautiful, gorgeous beach and clear sea with a fab sunbathing pier. My daughter loved the kids club. Entertainment was a bit hit and miss. Food of a good standard you would expect, although may not be for everyone. Desserts, gorgeous! Cats everywhere to fuss, well looked after. Lots of waterspouts and trips about. Bed was very comfy and room clean. All in all, we would recommend this hotel, but we would look to go to a different hotel when we return to Turkey.

Not our first visit to this hotel and it certainly won’t be our last. From the moment of arrival we were made welcome, the staff are really warm hearted and nothing at all is any trouble for then. The hotel itself is spotless, from the rooms, the dining areas, the pool area and the beautiful spacious gardens….. Which you should look around. The food is very varied and there is always something on the menu, can’t imagine anyone here going hungry. The drinks are ‘real’ and there’s a good choice, try Ferhats’ cocktail in Bar2, he’s a lovely person and brilliant barman. We tried the oriental, Italian and Turkish al a carte restaurants and thoroughly enjoyed all 3 the food in all 3 was delicious and the service 5star. There are more than enough sunbeds around the pool and towels are provided and you can change them daily. The staff, every single one who is employed there are always smiling and more than happy to have a few words with you, we always feel this hotel treats their staff, whatever rank, with respect and that shows in the friendliness of the staff. Get you holiday booked ….. you’ll love it xx
