Stayed at Casa dos Frades following a cruise on the Amazon. I arrived a day early for my reservation, but luckily, the hotel had vacancy for an additional night. I had booked what I understood to be a basic single room, but was given an enormous double room in the end. The whole house is beautiful too. A great and varied breakfast included in the price, which makes this place great value. Location right by the Amazon Theatre is very nice.

Taxi ride from the airport was $25 Brazilian dollars, only about a 7 minute drive. Room was clean and comfortable and as a single woman I felt safe. Taxi to downtown Manaus about $65 Brazil dollars. I am sure Uber would be much cheaper. Breakfast was a tasty buffet, would stay there again in same circumstance.reasonably priced.

Hotel facilities are good, high floors are not damp, swimming pool is more convenient, breakfast can be fried eggs or Omelet, taste is also quite a lot of choices, fruit is good, front desk service English is also very good. The hotel was excellent when it opened I stayed at almost 01 years, almost every month at the hotel, but this week I was extremely disappointed. I went to bath Monday at 8:30 a.m. and I had no hot water (the girl at the reception told me that it would take place that time) that pq people who come to work go out earlier to work. Another disappointment was coffee, which was very good until then, and there was a very reduction in gta of items and items that had were reused with old face, besides having no eggs that had until then every day. The food was made with the coast with tambaqui, which was always as shed and the banana swallowed came a 1/4 part of the pattern.People try to reduce costs but end up losing customers and unfortunately next time I will not stay in this hotel.

After the drought in the Amazon cut our 9 day camping tour short, we found Mural Living as a last minute accommodation for a shower, wi-fi, and air conditioning. Over the next few days, it became our home as we scrambled to find another tour operator. The hotel is centrally located, clean, and feels like home. We loved the hot showers, the quick service requests, all the kindness shown when communicating with me in my awful Portuguese, and the general low key vibe of the place. We ended up staying 3 nights, each morning coming down and asking to stay another night but keeping the same room. They so kindly obliged. I'm a huge fan of this hotel and whole-heartedly recommend it for others. It'll feel like a home away from home.
