The location is not bad, easy to go to the Louvre. The room is spacious and the breakfast is rich. We met a team of Russian athletes, who seemed to be football. At breakfast, the neighbors were uniform uniformed athletes. The evening was very lively at the seaside and the walk was very comfortable. The Louvre is very worth visiting and must go.

On 9th of October 2022 at around 15:00hrs. I went to visit a friend who is checked-in on one of their rooms help me fix something with my musical instrument. No greetings not even a pleasant welcoming but instead there’s one security personnel in a light blue security uniform who will stare at you fiercely which is very rude gesture. The room is booked for 2 Pax. This rude staring security personnel stopped me and asked for an ID (again no greetings at all) I went to the reception and handed over my ID for verification which is I believe is an Hotel Policy Standard and I understand since I’ve had worked for almost all of the 5-Star Luxury Hotels & Resorts here in Bahrain then suddenly things went confusing. The staff on the reception which I handed over my ID told me the room is booked for 2 person/pax, I said okay and he told me to pay for the sum of Twelve Bahraini Dinars (BHD 12) then I asked “for what should I pay for 12 BHD?” Then the receptionist replied “Yes, for visit you have to pay BHD 12” and I was shocked! I told him this is the very first time that I encountered such thing! I worked in Four Seasons, The Ritz, Sofitel, but I never encountered charging a visitor just to visit a friend. But the receptionist has a good follow up answer, He said “those are expensive hotel nohh? We are cheap hotel that’s why we are charging visitor for it” and I was like, “Wallah… Bravo” They let me proceed but in one condition to stay only for 5 minutes. And yes after 5 minutes they called the room and went to the room with a security and a Arab speaking/looking guy wearing plain black t-shirt and regular jeans. Though I have their names, I decided not to name them. Just depend their on duty timing of 15:00 onwards.

Very cosy and big rooms, well-designed. Small, but nice swimming pool on the top floor. Some large trade malls are nearby. But the location of the hotel is generally better for travelling by car. There is no free shuttle bus transfer to beaches, unfortunately. And very noisy highway just outside.

The location is a bit far from the city center as it is a Seef area, but it is very close to the Seef Mall. The restaurants and malls I often go to are far away. We were housekeeping at the time of our visit and waited to check in at 20:30. Just cleaned, but the floor was wet and the bathroom tiles were broken. However, the space was pleasant, the service was good, and the stay was relaxed.

We were at the Art hotel for a brunch and pool day, rather than to stay. We were excited to visit the hotel which gets great reviews, and it’s often hard to separate the reviews for staying at a hotel, with those for simply dining or using the facilities. Our expectations were high, we were left very disappointed. Here’s why; - first, before the bad, let’s quickly cover the good…the buffet brunch in Choices looks good and probably half of the brunch on offer is above average for the food typically available at these mass events. The fish, sushi, cooked meats and dim sum were all good. The food is better than most brunches - Now the bad…first, one of the reasons for attending a brunch at these big family resort hotels is the benefit of the access that comes with the brunch-pool, beach and critically kids club. We checked these facilities were included when we booked the day before the brunch, however when we arrived with our 5-year-old and asked where we’d find the kids club, we were informed that the rules had changed (in 24 hours?) and it was no longer included. For us this is a big problem, our son can’t sit a watch people eat for 3 hours, and loves a kids club. Ultimately, we were given access, however this involved several “approval” phone calls, and rather than guests prioritized to have a great time, we were left feeling like we were taking advantage, cheating them, and somehow doing something wrong. If it’s not included, tell us when we book, we won’t book, no problem. Don’t make your guests feel like this - Many things in the restaurant area diminish the dining experience…the room overall is pretty devoid of atmosphere, but the main issue is an unpleasant lingering smell in various areas…having been there through brunch we concluded it was the cleaning materials and stinky mop being brought out throughout the brunch sitting (unless there’s a good reason why do this when there’s a restaurant full of people?!) - The security levels in the hotel make you constantly feel like you’re being watched. We’re clear what’s included with our day, so, why have every individual member of the family independently sign in to the outdoor pool area? No other premium hotel does this. Why search every bag going out to the pool? Again, no other premium hotel does this. Through all the security, beyond the kids club experience, again we were made to feel unwelcome, and like an inconvenience for the staff. No one at the hotel outside of the restaurant made any obvious effort to help us have a great experience - The changing rooms in the pool area are run down, and inappropriate for the customer. 4 showers but only room for two people to change? The cleaner insistent on being there mopping the floor around us while we tried to change, and leaving the door open - really poor - Despite the over-attention on security, there’s a lack of attention on safety…while there are staff drying already dry floors in the change rooms the surroundings of the pool were extremel

Outstanding
EEKFWe stayed one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Service overall was exceptional. The villa is amazing but could use some updates( we learned that half of the villas are undergoing renovations and will re-open with a more modern and luxurious feel)
We had Arabian bbq dinner for two which was absolutely delicious.
Breakfast was a feast with wonderful service
Definitely recommend for couples. It was definitely a getaway.
MMansoor MansoorThe hotel is very nice and clean and specious , the best reservation to book two bed room appartment , its very nice for families and groups ..
I had some issues in the room , curtins are not will finished , so the sunlight goes throw the room , and since sunrise you know its morning even if you closed the curtins ..
Other thing there were annoying noise came every single minute from the fire alarm like beep , its annoying Nd disturbing , you cant sleep weĺl ..
The hotel had upgrade my room from one bedroom to two bedroom for free ..
Make sure you have at least 50 to 100 bhd as deposit for the hotel ..
You have alot of resturants near the hotel like five guys and pizza hut and starbucks....
QQuietwaiterSo-so, the facilities are average, a lot of mineral water is provided, and the toiletries are of average quality. My room is close to the parking lot and I am sometimes woken up by the car alarm!
GGuest UserThe hotel was perfect and the staff was super friendly and the room was clean. The price of the hotel was great. The 2 things that I didn’t like are: 1. My room was with a balcony. But there were no chairs at the balcony, so the balcony was useless. 2.I ordered a coffee from Starbucks and when the driver arrived they didn’t allow him to bring it to my room. I called the reception and I told them that the order is already paid, if the driver is not allowed to come upstairs please send the coffee with any of the hotel staff. They answered (it is even not allowed to send the coffee with the hotel staff and you have to come yourself downstairs to take your coffee) !!! That was weird!! At the check out I told the hotel’s manager about what happened and he told me that it’s not allowed by the ministry of tourism. That was not true because I stayed at many hotels in Bahrain and all of them were allowing the food to be delivered to the rooms.
GGuest UserWe booked a two bedroom apartment. The apartment is very good .very spacious . many restaurants and supermarkets are nearby. the only thing they can improve is there breakfast... limited choice.however with the price they offered it was a win win situation...will stay again if we happen to travel in future
SSvetlana SThe location of the hotel is very successful, close to local sights, shops, so in the evening there is something to do. The staff polite is trying, but the room cleaning is bad, attached the photo; in the window in my room was scary to look, it seems it hasn 't been washed since 1995. I would like to express my gratitude to the manager of the hotel Jeries Haddad for the effort and help in everything, only because of it I add a positive point to this hotel. The kitchen is specific, the first 3 days on the Indian motive was all; rice, spices and sharp dishes, but then changed. If you need a beach break, you definitely don't have it here, Marassi Beach isn't recommended. The bolotze, in the middle of which the construction is going with endless noise (the sad video cannot be attached to this beautiful view). Before that miracle there is a transfer from the hotel 2 times a day: at 9 a.m. and back to 14.30, before you can get back, You will have to pay the taxi driver 8 dinars (about $ 22), so make the conclusions. The hotel is ideal for business trips and for those who want to see the capital.
GGuest UserThank you for your excellent hospitality; it surpassed my expectations.I am grateful to you and your team for the extraordinary service I enjoyed at your hotel. From the hotel service driver who picked me up and waited for me at the airport, front desk, the team at the dining who's making good food and also do room service every morning because of my early shift at work and most specifically the house keeping Mr. Sumon, he made sure that my room is clean every day and the other day i misplaced my passport i thought I've lost it and when i get back in my room from work my passport is there and he put it in the table. Thank you so much for keeping it safe. I really appreciate it. You all went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and well cared for throughout my time with you(i still have one more week to go 😊) Thank you, and keep up the good work!
