Olive County Manali

Had a really nice stay at Olive County during our family trip in May. The location is awesome—just a short walk to the main bazaar, but still peaceful with beautiful river views. Definitely go for a room on a higher floor if you can—they have better views and are quieter too. The rooms were clean and comfy. Food was decent—nothing fancy, but the staff was super open to suggestions, which I appreciated. They seem a bit short-staffed, but to be honest, service wasn’t slow at all, which was impressive. They’ve got this open terrace area that’s kind of like a casual bar. Not a big selection—just a couple of beers—but it’s a chill spot to hang out in the evening. Parking was easy too, which made things convenient. Overall, I was happy with the stay and would definitely consider coming back. It’s a solid place if you want something scenic but still close to the action.

Dear Olive County Management, I am writing to express my disappointment with the experience I had during my recent visit to your hotel. The quality of snacks served—specifically the Veg Manchurian, Paneer Tikka, and Veg Kabab—was extremely poor. The dishes lacked flavor, freshness, and proper presentation. The Manchurian was soggy and bland, the Paneer Tikka was dry and tasteless, and the Veg Kabab felt undercooked and lacked seasoning. For a hotel of your reputation, this was quite unexpected and unacceptable. To add to the poor food experience, the service was equally disappointing. Staff were inattentive and seemed indifferent to feedback. Our requests took far too long to be addressed, and basic hospitality was noticeably missing. I hope you take this feedback constructively and take steps to improve both the quality of food and the service standards. A reputed brand like Olive County should reflect excellence in both.

The hotel is extremely dirty and poorly managed. Had one of the worst experience in my life. Staff are terrible. Front desk guys were worst and indifferent. I went with family and they have no consideration. Rooms are worst quality.

I am very excited in room is very clean and all staff is very friendly every time help full food also very testy I am suggest to all social media *** can you support in stay my friend . Special swimming pool is need and clean poll said view is amazing

I had chosen this hotel based on great recommendation from a friend regarding the location, service, etc. The location of this hotel is no doubt great, but I guess the pandemic has hit the management and daily running of this hotel really badly. The GM who I talked to was extremely helpful but unfortunately, the entire staff seemed to totally untrained. The maintenance of the hotel has also taken a hit over the years. From faulty switches and light points, doors creaking, not closing properly, windows not cleaned, no service at night or early morning, electric kettles not being available in some rooms, electric kettle placed in the room but there is power point to use it with, no spoons provided for making tea/coffee, the list is endless. The food was also pretty basic, nothing to really write home about. Thankfully, this hotel is surrounded by brilliant cafes which serve really nice food. I would seriously advise the management to get its act together and get some trained professionals to run the hotel. I definitely would NOT be recommending this hotel to anyone.
