The Hideaway Hotel

We loved our stay here! Such a cute hotel, rooms were clean and a good size. Very comfy beds, a nice sized fridge and coffee maker. Staff were great and very accommodating with our questions. It’s so handy for the beach in a beautiful quiet spot. We will definitely return.

Wonderful stay at the Hideaway. Rooms were clean and well appointed, beds were comfortable. Loved that they had beach chairs and towels available and direct access to the beach right across the street. The roof terrace was a nice spot to relax with super comfortable loungers.

This hotel has shady business practices. They charged us for two rooms, despite checking in and needing only one room. They wouldn't give a refund for the second room, even though their cancellation policy states they would. Very frustating. You've been warned.

We loved the privacy . Being on the end of the island was a plus. The view was beautiful! We were steps from the beach which was so convenient. Our room was adequate! The bed was very comfortable! We had a lovely outdoor sitting area . You could take the view in here. I think a coffee maker in the room would be Nice. With the view, you would want to enjoy your morning joe right there instead of heading to the lobby. Also, a better cleaning of mold around the Shower door. Tissues would be nice too! Otherwise, this motel has the key ingredients for a nice getaway from this busy world!

I had been eying this location for years, so I decided to check it out for one night in September with my husband. The location is wonderful. Great view from the rooftop deck, short steps to the beautiful, uncrowded, clean beach with a restroom close by. Perfect, unspoiled spot! The room was nice, the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever been in. The front desk gentleman was professional, kind & very helpful. A few small things that I feel could have been improved upon seeing as how it’s a boutique hotel - the bathroom had some very fancy details, but the shower had mold and stains. Maybe our room wasn’t yet remodeled. It certainly didn’t ruin my stay. Like many people when visiting the beach, we were up and on the beach for the morning sunrise. It did not disappoint, but this was the only beach stay where there was no coffee to be found until 8:00 am. The super cool little store next door also didn’t open until that time. Realizing that this is a residential area (definitely a plus), I can understand there not being a lot of commercialism, but I was a little disappointed that a higher priced lodging didn’t have at least a little morning joe for the early risers. The only other negative was the very noisy people above us. I would go again, but I’d back a coffee maker and I wouldn’t stay on the lower level.

What an adorable motel. Small, quaint and with great views of the ocean from the 2 decks they have. Our room was small but cozy. The beds were Uber comfortable and the pillows were like sleeping on a cloud. The bathroom mirror was cool with lights that changed like a make-up mirror and a button to defog it.
