Iberostar Cala Millor - Adults Only

Stopped here for 7 nights. We upgraded to a sea view room on arrival as the room we had been allocated was opposite the restaurant which wasn’t really a great view. We were put on the 7th floor and it was a fantastic view! The room was very spacious and the bed was huge and comfortable. Food was good, plenty of choice and the drinks were good, especially the cocktails. The hotel itself is very chilled out and has a laid back atmosphere. The pool area is very quiet during the day, could possibly do with a bit of background music to liven it up a little. Plenty of sunbeds available but if you like to be in the sun all day it can be an issue as the tall buildings either side tend to put you in the shade at some point during the day. We went to the beach for the day to avoid this. Two sunbeds down there cost us €7:50 which was fine as the beach is nice and the sea very clear and calm. Evening entertainment was good. Most acts got people up dancing and singing. On the whole, it was a great stay for us. If you want somewhere to go and have a chilled out break, this is the place to go.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Iberostar in Cala Millor. The staff from front the desk to chamber crew, all friendly and professional. We would like to thank front desks Magui,and Josep. The restaurant staff were top notch. Thank you Ventura, Fidel,Natalia and dissy. You made dining a pleasure. The Bar tender, Jasmin, he is one of best Bar Tender I have met over 60 years. We will return next year.

My wife and I spent seven days at Iberostar in Calla Millor and we were both so impressed. The hotel is very modern and incredibly well looked after. Everywhere is so clean and the facilities are excellent. We used the fitness room (which is open 24hrs a day and well equipped) for our weight training and we swam in the indoor pool most days. The sauna is fabulous too. The hotel is right on the beach and we had an outstanding sea view from our room. The staff are exceptional, everyone made us feel very welcome throughout the entire week and we were sad to say goodbye. The hotel is also very well positioned next to the gorgeous nature reserve that we went for walks in a few times. One of the best things about the Iberostar is the buffet meals. We had half board so breakfast and dinner everyday. There was a huge selection of quality food and different themed nights, we particularly enjoyed the Mexican night. The downstairs bar is very chilled and we enjoyed playing pool down there quite often. The rooms are modern and very well maintained. The people make the place and the staff here really impressed us, thank you for helping us have a brilliant holiday!!

If you like wild water swimming, you’ll love it, pool was colder than the sea, hardly anybody went in all week, absolutely ridiculous how cold it was. Can’t fault the staff, we’re all really friendly and helpful. First time in a few years that I’ve paid for a safe in the less than adequate room. Paid for a balcony sea view and wanted to charge us for a higher floor, crafty. And the room, no tea or coffee facilities, we were all inclusive but there was nothing in the mini bar except water. Because it’s between two high rise hotels you have to get the compass out to plot your sunbed location. Love the area but I’m afraid I will not be returning to this hotel.

TBH I would rather have given more of a 3.5 stars but that’s not an option. This is a good hotel a short walk along the front into a lovely town. The hotel is modern and stylish and the rooms comfortable - esp the beds. The staff all seemed pleasant and helpful. There is the business of the towel deposit but I can see why that is done and frankly if you’ve paid what you have to go there what is 20€ that you’ll get back anyway? We were on the ground floor which I admit I sceptical of at first but actually it meant we had sun loungers in a prime location for the morning sun while we were there so no early morning dash to reserve a lounger (yes this does happen sadly). The bathroom was a good size. The cleaning staff did a great job. The pool area is lovely and has a great view. The sun, in May so maybe not all year, took its time in the morning to hit the pool area properly hence the madness of unofficial sunlounger reserving at the crack of dawn. Once the sun was out though there was a nice atmosphere around the pool with a range of things put on to entertain and engage and it never lasted long so, if it’s not your thing, it isn’t too imposing. The pool isn’t heated and so was so freezing even Wim Hoff may have winced. Tolerable to dangle a leg in but nothing more I suspect until later in the year. Shame as it was otherwise a great pool. The food in the restaurant was lovely and varied. There were themed evenings as well as staple things people might turn to in case it isn’t for them (salad bar, pasta, etc). There was a rotation of freshly cooked meats and fish. At breakfast you could have an omelette to order. Only issue in restaurant is the wine was not as good but occasionally they would get some of their delicious cava from the bar for us. The snack bar downstairs by the pool wasn’t for me. Cake and few sandwiches really - as the day wore on it got a bit crusty. Having been to other 4* places I’ve seen the snack bars done better. It feels like an afterthought. The bar itself was good but occasionally felt that the staff were a bit overrun with “more demanding” parties in there. Through the day though they were fab and made some decent drinks! Being an adults only hotel the evening entertainment tended to be more of the music variety which was … varied… some we stayed for and others we wouldn't. There wasn’t the option to sit on our terraces as they weren’t lit of an evening which was a shame. Overall decent stay with fond memories.

Bed comfortable, large balcony, shower fabulous We found all staff friendly and accommodating, location not for us,nothing in area other than nature reserve small beach. Food was OK but different cultures like Japanese morrocon Mexican each evening but that was it, drinks ok,nice cocktails. Only piano music played low throughout day and evening bit entertainment between 8.30 and 9.45 only. Personally found it boring, but that just us very tranquil so depends on what want. Hotel Clean but wouldn't say luxurious.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in! This was my second trip to the hotel and it was even better than the first visit. From the cava and warm welcome on arrival until the checkout all the staff and their level of service is second to none. It is the perfect place to relax! If you want to party try Magaluf, but for those who require a place to be looked after to the highest level and comfort and relaxation I can highly recommend it. Having worked in the hospitality business over the years it is lovely to see such a well run hotel with happy staff and great standards from the food to the cleanliness of rooms and other areas. I cannot thank everyone at the hotel enough. I had the wonderful chilled holiday I was in need of. Well done, keep up the great work and I will see you again soon.
