Hotels near Park in Mamburao

I have been to Puerto Galera before and accommodation was a real struggle. The quality around White Beach was really poor and they were old and tired. So coming this time I wanted to find something better. Looking at these pics this hotel looked amazing. The hotel is situated around 10 mins drive from White Beach. That is considered close. And there are plenty of Tricycles to take you back to the hotel at any time. I thought this location was great. The view from the hotel was amazing and featured two swimming pools one being a Infinity pool. The infinity pool was quite deep. The rooms were big and comfortable with good air con. There is little to fault the hotel on. I had a room next to the pool and the only issue was there was a light you couldn't turn off and that light attracted half of the islands bugs at night so I couldn't leave my door open. Secondly the hotel is built on the steepest hill you have ever seen. I am not exaggerating when I say that. It is so steep that riding a motorbike it couldn't even make it up the hill lol. The staff will help you with the bags and its prob only a 5 min walk but in the heat it takes a lot out of you. If you are not fit or you were of the older generation I think you would struggle. I rented a motorbike which i would suggest if staying here so its easy to travel about. I will definitely stay here again next time I come to PG.

1. Hotel location: 900 meters away from the white sandy beach, you can walk along the highway for 15 minutes, or walk along the beach through a reef, about 25 minutes. 2. Hotel environment: Have your own beach at least 50 meters, very suitable for watching the sunset of the sea, and falling asleep listening to the sound of the waves. Unfortunately, the beach has a lot of pebbles and the sand is relatively thick, which is not suitable for swimming. The waves during my stay in the past few days were relatively big, and it was not suitable for swimming. I could only swim in the hotel pool 3. Hotel facilities: the room is spacious and bright, facing the sea, there is a balcony with green plants and a sofa bed, you can lie down and chat and watch the sea view. Disadvantages: The pillows are very uncomfortable, my friends and I both sleep with neck pain; the single bed in the double room is too narrow about 90 cm; there is no toothpaste and toothbrush, ask the front desk to pay for it; one less towel for wiping hair 4. Breakfast is very simple. When it is free, two slices of toast + egg + 1 cup of drink, others need to be paid separately, the price is not low 5. Whether the room is suitable for children, as soon as I entered the room, I removed the two single beds, and there was a sofa bed that was stretched out. The next day the waiter saw that we didn’t need it, and we would harvest the sofa, so we should live in a family it is also fine Because I didn't see a hotel with 4 stars or more in White Beach on Ctrip, I booked this one, and I am basically satisfied with it.

Availed the Amami Beach Resort ₱6590 (4pax) all inclusive group promo. That’s 3D2N accommodation will full meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) package. They also have the couple package for only ₱3990. I first availed of this promotional voucher when pandemic started and they needed to make sure that the staff are still being paid despite the pandemic affecting all businesses. The resort also does feeding program for children in and around the area. Amami Beach Resort is located in Talipanan, Puerto Galera. About 20-25mins tryke ride from Balatero Port, usual charge of ₱200-250 or ₱50/pax. We took the RORO as we weren’t in a rush coming from Batangas Pier. JAM Liner charges ₱268 while ALPS ₱260. Monte***** RORO leaves the Batangas Pier at 8AM for ₱425 regular fare and travel is around 1hr 40mins. You have to be early as the queue is usually pretty long just about daily. Besides the waiting area in Batangas is actually nice, looking more like an airport departure area. You have to pay ₱30 terminal fee and environmental fee of ₱120/head in Puerto Galera upon arrival. Please do make sure to get your students bring their school ID to avail of discounts. Getting back to Batangas Pier from Balatero Port we did an advance booking via Kuya Agoy (+63997 074-3378). We paid an extra ₱50/head for the advance booking and he even delivered our tickets at the resort! It did save us time queuing and less hassle as we headed straight to the port entrance to pay for the terminal fee of ₱10/head then waiting area. Departure was 2PM from Balatero Port to Batangas. The resort has beach front accommodation as well as Greenhouses located by the main road, roughly 3mins walk to the beach and mess hall. Staff are amazing, food is fairly priced, everything is delicious (thanks mainly to Ate Briza 👏) and big portions too! Everything was great, staff food and location but the place needs quite a few fixes. Accommodation : we had an issue with the faulty door and door knob. Bathroom : clean and all but drain is a bit clogged as it takes awhile for the water to go down. Service Price List : not updated at all. I did speak to one of the managers (after contacting him via texts messages and call to which he dropped my call and never responded to my text messages) later in the afternoon. He was not apologetic for not getting back to me and didn’t really do much about my concern. A real let down after having dealt with the owner Fabio before. The staff did their best to be able to assist us but there is only so much they can do. Staff gets 15/10 stars ⭐️ while management gets zero ⭐️. È molto deludente. In all fairness to the manager Filippo, he is young and seemed patient listening to me, atleast. It is so sad because this place is amazing, the staff are simply wonderful and food is great! They used to be top of the list here in Trip Advisor and now due to neglect, there isn’t much despite their promotion which helps the place and staff big time.

Premises …are quite new with two very nice and large pools facing the ocean plus a hot-tub for which you have to book. The resort looks as good as the photos so we were not disappointed. During our five nights we saw only very few people around the resort and the restaurant even though they were fully booked. They even have a game room with a pool table, PS4 and karaoke system. Food …is good with traditional Filipino dishes, especially the pork sinigang was very good (too fatty meat though). Would be nice with a few non-fast food Western options. Staff …were extremely service minded and made us feel very welcome. All spoke English fluently in addition to Tagalog. Wheat could have been better …not leaving a family with two small kids in 32 degrees at the port for 30 min even though we had made a clear agreement to be picked up …wifi in room 601 was horrible and I had to take a business meeting close to the restaurant …none of the pools had any shade whatsoever Overall we were very happy with our stay and will definitely come back (hopefully to better wifi 😀).

This amazing hotel is the perfect stay in Puerto Galera. It’s a five minute walk from the beach, and near shops and restaurants. Close to the action if you want it, but also just far enough away for quiet when you need it. The pool is refreshing and clean, the room was spacious, and it’s easy to find upon arrival from the Balatero Port. The staff were inviting and hospitable. Only downsides: no WiFi in the rooms, have to pay for breakfast. Everything else about this place is 5/5.

I need a new vocabulary. Having previously used all the superlatives to describe other resorts, I need new ones, as this is an order of magnitude beyond all previous resort vacations. The physical resort, the food, the service, the diving, the attitude of the staff, everything. I was met at the airport, guided through the ferry terminal, picked up at the ferry landing, taken to the resort, and greeted by name, by everyone, all week. At no time was I ”just another dollar”, and at no time was any member of the staff less than entirely cheerful and helpful. I could get used to this, real easy... It's as if I were a valued guest, instead of just a customer. Imagine that. To make this shorter for those who don't want to read the rest of this... I began my plans to return on the way home. I rarely go anywhere outside of the USA twice, (been there, done that..) Not this time. I am going back and I will bring as many friends as I can. It's 14 hours on a jet from LAX to Manila, and 4 more hours after that. I hate travel, but this was worth it. I'll take Philippine Airlines again next time too. They don't treat you like cattle, sheep or dirt. I have now felt respect while travelling, and I like it! The flight wasn't so bad. I am 6” tall, weight 240, and was comfortable in economy. Free wifi, a tv with free movies, tv shows, music..etc.. a very pleasant flight, in both directions. Food OPTIONS! You get to choose. Wow. On arrival at Marco Vincent, I was greeted by name, shown my room, a crate was outside my door to put my dive gear in, it was the last time I handled it all week. My room was large, extremely clean, super comfortable with a small fridge full of water, a table w 2 chairs, a big shower, AC unit, very firm mattress, spotless soft white sheets, a 32” TV with plenty of channels and it was quiet. All meals were as good as I have had anywhere. This place only has 32 rooms, so the buffet menu is not extensive, but I always found more than enough of what I like to eat. The quality and presentation was always top notch. The quality of the food extends to the dive boat, Big Beth. They have a chef aboard and those meals are the same quality as at the resort. Remember, this is a day boat, and they have a chef aboard serving freshly made gourmet meals. (Sure beats grabbing a sandwich at Walmart on the way to the lake....) The diving itself was like nowhere else. I saw things I didn't know existed.. an electric clam? WOW! Nudibranchs, mantis shrimp, lion fish (where they belong), a few octopi, at least three, maybe five, different morays, frogfish, giant clams, miniature seahorses, scorpionfish, colors that I can't describe...more different fish than I could list in a week... Every dive was something new, and all conducted from a really nice boat, the nicest boat I saw there. Excellent place, small and really friendly, staff are brilliant and helpful, especially the Manager, I stayed in one of the nipper huts which had air con and was really clean. Pool is nice and hotel is right in the beach. Also next door in the frog bar they sell top quality, great homemade food . Thoroughly recommend the summer Connection .

This is a very cute place to stay! The staff was very friendly, the room was comfortable, and the stay overall was enjoyable. The room was generally clean, with some details overlooked (like previous guest's receipt on the floor and a few other papers around the room, one of the towels was a bit dirty). The hotel only provides a toothbrush and a toothpaste (and shampoo and shower gel in the shower), but I found the lack of a bar of soap disappointing. The location is great, the hotel is right at the beach, and easily accessible. The hotel cafe is adorable, serves good food, and the staff is friendly and polite. As for the provided breakfast, I could choose from the breakfast menu at the cafe, and coffee was served directly. Overall, I would definitely recommend this adorable hotel to anyone visiting, it's charming and worth staying in!
