Camiguin is a wonderful beautiful island with so much to explore, and Somewhere Else Resort is the ideal base to discover all the island has to offer. What a wonderful resort. The villas are architecturally interesting, artfully designed and full of thoughtful amenities. Every comfort is offered, everything you need is there before you even realise you need it. The owner and staff are exceptional. Giving you all the help you need, from planning your site seeing, to driving you to and from your choice of restaurant for dinner to preparing your breakfast at your chosen time in your own private space But also providing you with complete privacy. You always feel like you have this magical paradise to yourself. And as beautiful as it is, it is also not at all pretentious. Everyone is down to earth and friendly, and happy to have a chat (I am sure we talked Jerome and Andrews ears off!) :) Andrew one of the team at the resort provides a driving service if you are not confident driving yourself or just don't want to worry about it. Andrew is one of the nicest guys you will meet, and makes the whole day out fun and enjoyable, always smiling and friends with everyone on the island, he will take you to some great places you might not find on your own, mind your stuff while you snorkle, help you out when needed and is an absolute asset to this place. Then there are the sweetest dogs who live there, that I fell in love with. Plus a lovely pool, a clean beach, flowers every where. Staying at somewhere else you have this great luxury experience staying in a great villa but also feels like home, and feels like you are staying with friends. It's about 7️⃣ to 🔟minutes by TukTuk from the airport. It's located a little to the north and west. The resort's own garden can directly see the white island. The garden is also very beautiful. I stayed at this resort for four nights and five days, one night. It is a room facing the seaside garden where you can directly see the coral white sand island. It is very enjoyable. There is a huge toilet, sofa, kitchen, refrigerator, etc. The room has air conditioning, TV, ceiling fan, toilet, ventilation fan, etc. Toiletries can also be provided upon request. The boss is a Westerner, who looks like someone from France and Italy. The wife of the boss is a local and seems to be a very capable woman. The overall service is very good, but because of the island relationship, power outages and network instability are very common things, as island players know (luxury hotels like Madai are not included in the comparison). If there is no internet in the evening, go and chat with the waiter at the English corner. There is a tall waitress with a nice smile. She is lively and fun. She is a fan of domestic idol dramas. She is shy when talking about Chinese male stars. Face. The recommended dinner of chicken and mushroom pasta was the best thing I had in that time (see picture). They are also very active in planning and helping to order TukTuk or multicab. We even got to know each other later and even helped me inquire about the price of the Cebu city tour after I left the hotel, which was very considerate. The hotel guests are mainly Westerners and middle-class local guests. There is also a motorcycle rental service (it is recommended that you know how to drive a motorcycle and have a domestic driver's license. For others, it is recommended to rent a driver because there are many mountain roads and it is not safe).

The locals were very simple. When they dropped off, they lost their phones on the car and found them at the airport. One hour and ten minutes before departure, the airport staff immediately asked for help, returned to the hotel immediately with the help car, contacted the hotel to see if the driver remembered the license plate, tried to contact the driver, found multiple people, and finally contacted another driver to inform the driver. Already waiting at the airport with a handcart, immediately flew to the airport. Finally got the phone to catch the plane. Thanks to everyone on the island who helped me!

It was a beautiful holiday vacation again here in camiguin and where choice to stay in mabini lodge, everything is absolutely perfect staff is friendly and accommodating as well good ambiance and classy room !!! All I can say it was enjoyable stay in mabini lodge!!! Me and my partner was so much enjoyed stay in place thank you!!!

We had 3 pleasant nights there. It is quiet and you only hear the waves and the wind. The houses are in Bamboo and we slept very well. The staff is very accomodating, very professional and speak a very good english. They really make sure that you enjoy your stay, and in case of issue with some planned activities (For example if the sea become too dangerous), then they offer immediately other activities to compensate. We will definitely come back
